Michael Conrad (October 16, 1925 – November 22, 1983) was an American actor, best known for his Emmy Award-winning role as Sgt. Esterhaus on Hill Street Blues (1981–84) and for appearing in such films as The Longest Yard (1974) and They Shoot Horses, Don't They? (1969).
Conrad was married to Denise McCluggage, Emilie Demille, and Sima Goldberg. He died in 1983 at the age of 58 from urethral cancer.
