    Lois Lane

Lois Lane

Species: Human

Appearances: Superman: Man of Tomorrow | Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths

Voiced By: Alexandra Daddario

The Daily Planet's newest reporter who successfully took down Lex Luthor.

  • Adaptational Relationship Overhaul: Differing from most versions who rather quickly admire Superman while finding Clark amusing at best shortly after meeting him, this version is distrustful of Superman and sees him as being the same as Luthor until she is convinced otherwise. Also while she has a similar relationship with Clark that most versions have this early in their friendship, she is far nicer to him despite at one point trying to steal his story.
  • Alliterative Name: Her name is Lois Lane.
  • Alternate Self: She had one on Earth-2, who died before the time of the Crisis.
  • The Cynic: It's subtle, but Lois clearly believes that anyone with as much power as Luthor and Superman has to be an arrogant egomaniac and must have a secretly selfish agenda. However Superman is able to convince her that despite what she might think he simply wants to help.
  • Hypocritical Humor: She keeps referring to the Flying Man as Superman, despite everyone insisting that the name won't catch on, but tells Clark that the Martian Manhunter is a terrible name.
  • Intrepid Reporter: She is obviously this, but during the film she dips into Immoral Journalist territory when she starts writing a negative story about Superman simply because she believes that it is the truth. This is somewhat justified by the fact that she is incredibly cynical of people with too much power, but she eventually comes to believe that Superman is good.
  • Younger and Hipper: In comparison to most version and especially her DCAMU self, as in Man of Tomorrow she only becomes an official reporter after exposing Lex at the start of the film despite being a grad student. Prior to that Lex had mentioned that she was the recipient of the Luthor journalism scholarship and asked if the reason he hadn't heard from her after a few months is because she's been studying, a sharp contrast to most versions who are already an established reporter by the time Clark comes to Metropolis.

    Perry White

Perry White

Species: Human

Appearances: Superman: Man of Tomorrow

Voiced By: Piotr Michael

The managing editor of the Daily Planet.

  • Bad Boss: He intentionally humiliates his staff by calling Lois a "real" reporter publicly so that they would hate her. However later in the film Lois comes by to check on Clark after Perry tells her that Clark is fired for not showing up for work, and she explains that what he meant was that he wanted her to make sure Clark was ok.
  • Da Editor: He's the chief editor of the Daily Planet.
  • Expy: Has more in common with J. Jonah Jameson than Perry White, considering how in one scene he shouts at his staff talking about how they need to find the weaknesses of the aliens (Lobo and Martian Manhunter).
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He's shown to be a Bad Boss early in the film and is concerned more with finding out the dangers and weaknesses of aliens, but according to Lois he sent her to find out if Clark was alright when he didn't show up for work despite only being an intern.

Species: Human

Appearances: Superman: Man of Tomorrow | Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths

Voiced By: Zachary Quinto

The owner of LexCorp and STAR Labs who is sent to prison due to Lois Lane exposing him as corrupt.

  • Alliterative Name: His birth name is Alexander, but he goes by Lex Luthor.
  • Arch-Enemy: Not yet but he and Superman are well on their way to having this relationship.
  • Corrupt Corporate Executive: He was this until Lois exposes him and he gets sent to prison after his rocket malfunction due to him rushing it's design. However even in prison he still has enough influence so that he could be let out temporarily.
  • Create Your Own Hero: Lois was the recipient of the Luthor journalism scholarship, meaning he helped pay for Lois to become the journalist she is.
  • Fantastic Racism: While he views both as dangerous, he considers Superman to be a bigger threat due to being an alien while Parasite is simply a mutated human.
  • Opportunistic Bastard: Takes the opportunity to try and take down both Parasite and Superman despite having agreed to help the latter, and the only reason he fails is because Martian Manhunter intervenes.
  • Two First Names: Sort of, another spelling for his name is Luther which is sometimes used as a given name.

    Mercy Graves

Mercy Graves

Species: Human

Appearances: Superman: Man of Tomorrow

A bodyguard working for Lex Luthor.

  • Adaptational Dye-Job: Is blond in this version like in the comics, while in her original appearance she had brown hair.
  • The Cameo: Doesn't have any lines in her brief appearance.

As Rudy
Giant Form

Species: Metahuman

Appearances: Superman: Man of Tomorrow

Voiced By: Brett Dalton

A janitor who works at STAR Labs.

  • Action Dad: Is a war veteran and a father.
  • Adaptational Attractiveness: Rudy is usually shown to have been unhealthy before becoming Parasite and at times is drawn to be ugly, but this version is shown to be more classically handsome.
  • Adaptational Badass: Rudy is usually a slacker who sticks to menial labour in the comics and has never been a war vet before.
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: He's a Tragic Villain in this version and a war vet, instead of the usual depiction of a selfish jackass in the comics.
  • Adaptational Origin Connection: Rudy was accidentally turned into Parasite by Lobo in this version and Crisis reveals that his absorbing abilities were passed onto the android Amazo.
  • Adaptational Sympathy: This version of the character is a former Marine and only kills due to not understanding his powers and needing to survive, as opposed to the comic version who was often a bad person before getting his powers.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Possibly, as it's left unclear whether he drained the energy from the explosion out of instinct or to save Metropolis.
  • Kaiju: Becomes one in the final fight against Superman and Lobo.
  • Tragic Villain: Was mutated into monster due to events beyond his control.

Jonathan and Martha Kent

Species: Human

Appearances: Superman: Man of Tomorrow

Jonathan voiced by: Neil Flynn
Martha voiced by: Bellamy Young

The human couple who adopted Clark.

  • Alternate Self: Their counterparts on Earth-2 are dead.
  • The Cynic: Downplayed but Jonathan is the one who brings up the negative outcomes of Clark going public as an alien while Martha is more optimistic. However he still supports his son in whatever choice he makes and isn't completely dismissive of the idea that humanity could accept Clark.
  • Good Parents: As usual for the characters, they love their son and try to give him good advice.
  • The Idealist Was Right: While she worries for Clark's safety, Martha believes that humanity can accept him and while it is difficult Clark does prove she was right.
  • Two First Names: Martha's maiden name is Clark in the comics which is her son's first name, while Kent is also used as a first name.

    Pete Ross

Pete Ross

Species: Human

Appearances: Superman: Man of Tomorrow

Voiced By: Cristina Milizia

Clark's childhood friend.

  • Innocently Insensitive: While watching a film about aliens, he comments that aliens are scary and he's glad that they aren't real. However Clark had learned his origins and watching a film where aliens were portrayed as monsters had already upset him, with his friend's comment likely making things worse.
  • Interspecies Friendship: His best friend during childhood was a kryptonian.
  • Two First Names: Both Pete and Ross are used as first names.

    Deb Ross
