The "Heads"

    In General

    Doom-Head
Portrayed by: Richard Brake

  • Apologetic Attacker: Doom-Head apologizes to his first victim for his axe being dull. May be Affably Evil or, more likely, Faux Affably Evil.
  • Berserk Button: Quote Doom-Head, "I ain't no fuckin' clown."
  • Blood from the Mouth: He punches himself in the mouth until it's covered in blood seemingly just for the look.
  • Blood Is the New Black: Basically wears his own blood as makeup for his job.
  • Cold Ham: Doom-Head has the coldest delivery out of everyone in the entire film. He's also just as hammy as the rest of the Heads, if not more so.
  • Cultured Warrior: Doom-Head views himself as this at least.
  • The Dragon: Doom-Head is the final 'Head' to arrive and the most deadly.
  • Establishing Character Moment: The film begins with Doom-Head ostensibly addressing the camera, with his monologue painting him as a deranged but intelligent killer with a macabre sense of humor.
  • Evil Sounds Deep: Doom-Head is actor Richard Brake at his raspiest and most demonic-sounding.
  • Faux Affably Evil: Though Doom-Head makes some token attempts at being polite to his victims, he's ultimately about as charming and refined as a suit and tie on a rotting corpse.
  • Lean and Mean: Doom-Head is tall, skinny, and absolutely terrifying.
  • Looks Like Orlok: It's not explicitly the same, but Rob Zombie states that this was the visual inspiration for Doom-Head. Further lampshaded during a scene where Doom-Head has Nosferatu playing as he has sex.
    • Also, after he is called in, Doom-head wears an outfit nearly identical to Count Orlok.
  • Madness Mantra: Doom-Head repeats, "I'm not crazy, I'm in control," several times to himself in the mirror before punching himself in the face and giving himself a bloody mouth.
  • Mean Character, Nice Actor: Richard Brake is, by all accounts, a really nice guy. Doom-Head is not.
  • Near-Villain Victory: Charly manages to survive the entire 12 hour game before Doom-Head gets to kill her, much to his chagrin.
    Doom-Head: MOTHERFUCKER!
  • Slasher Smile: When Doom-Head gets real into it, he sports a terrifying grin. The grin he gives Charly at the end of the film is outright Nightmare Fuel.
  • Soft-Spoken Sadist: Speaks very calmly while doing his job... well usually.

    Sick-Head
Portrayed by: Pancho Moler

  • Bilingual Bonus: There are no subtitles when he speaks in Spanish but you can get the basic idea of what he's saying when he's taunting his victims.
  • Depraved Dwarf: Sick-Head is a Nazi dwarf wielding two knives.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Is stabbed to death with his own sword.
  • Neck Snap: Charly thinks she does this but was mistaken.
  • Those Wacky Nazis: Sick-Head is a Nazi clown with a swastika painted over his chest. His room has, "Arbeit macht frei," written above the door and is filled with all sorts of Hitler and Nazi memorabilia.

    Psycho-Head
Portrayed by: Lew Temple

    Schizo-Head
Portrayed by: David Ury

    Death-Head
Portrayed by: Torsten Voges

    Sex-Head
Portrayed by: Elizabeth Daily

  • Bilingual Bonus: There are no subtitles when she speaks german.
  • Cute and Psycho: A pretty straightforward example of this.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Both her and Death-Head beg for the other to be spared when their lives are threatened.
  • Face of an Angel, Mind of a Demon: She acts cute but is payed to murder people in the most brutal ways possible.
  • The Fake Cutie: Although she still behaves in the same cutesy way when she's trying to murder people.
  • Girlish Pigtails: She wears a bright cyan wig that's styled into pigtails.
  • Gratuitous German: Sings in german but likely just does it because of her partner, Death-Head.
  • Honey Trap: It's revealed she's the woman that talked with Roscoe at the gas station before they were kidnapped. She got Roscoe to tell her where he and the other carnies were heading and that they had no weapons to defend themselves with while flirting with him, Allowing their capture.
  • Manic Pixie Dream Girl: She pulls a manic pixie dream act when she flirts with Roscoe and gets the information needed to kidnap him and the rest of the carnies and acts in a quirky and childish way.
  • Psychopathic Womanchild: She behaves in a (seemingly deliberate) childish and cutesy manner and is also a murderer.
  • Slashed Throat: Given by a very angry Charly.

The Carnies

    Panda Thomas

  • Animal Theme Naming: Duh...
  • Inappropriate Hunger: He's quite eager to eat the food left for them by the Game Hosts despite his friends pointing out that it isn't a good idea, that is... until he finds out he's eating his best friend.

    Venus Virgo
Portrayed by: Meg Foster

  • Chainsaw Good: She gets a chainsaw as a weapon. Sadly, it breaks pretty quickly at a pretty inconvenient time.
  • Dead Guy on Display: Becomes this after Doom-Head gets her.
  • Money Song: "Sucky, sucky, sucky. Fucky, fucky, fucky. Juicy, juicy, juicy. Money, money, money!"
  • Team Mom: She's the most compassionate and caring of the players during the game and even begs for Doom-Head to spare the others as she's dying.

    Roscoe Pepper
Portrayed by: Jeff Daniel Phillips

  • Heroic Sacrifice: Roscoe tells Charly to escape without him and tries to distract Doom-Head long enough to give them a head start.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold:He's an ill-tempered asshole but he cares about his friends.
  • No Sympathy: He offers the woman attached to the mattress little sympathy, though it's because he reasonably believes that she's there to trap them.
  • Quit Your Whining: Is essentially told to do this in advance by Charly when she closes his wound.

    Levon Wally
Portrayed by: Kevin Jackson

    Charly
Portrayed by: Sheri Moon Zombie

  • Action Girl: She gets some pretty badass moments when fighting for her life.
  • Beauty Is Never Tarnished: Averted, Charly looks like hell and can barely walk at the end of the film.
  • Blood Is the New Black: At the end of the movie she walks aimlessly in the middle of the road covered in blood. Part of her hair is practically dyed red from the blood!
  • Final Girl: Charly seems to be this, but her fate is in question by the end of the film.
  • Hope Spot: This seems to have happened after she wins the 31 game and walks half-dead in the middle of the road when Doom-Head comes back to finish the job, though her fate is unknown.
  • Slashers Prefer Blondes: Averted? Despite being the last one standing it's implied that she may have been killed off-screen by Doom-Head at the end.
