Asuka Tsuchimiya

Voiced by: Tomoyo Kurosawa

  • Genki Girl: She's very cheery and energetic.
  • The Leader
  • I Will Find You: She spends the series hopping alternate universes looking for any sign of her missing little brother. She never does find him, in any universe—a bitter pill she finally forces herself to swallow, allowing her to move on.
  • Nice Girl
  • Stepford Smiler: Yuu eventually calls her on this, suggesting she only projects a cheery mask to hide her sadness.

Yuu Tounaka

Voiced by: Lynn

  • Childhood Friends: She's been friends with Asuka since they were children, including when Kyouhei disappeared. In the Emissary of Twilight's home Fragment, Yuu moved away soon after Kyouhei's disappearance, leaving her without any emotional support and thus leaving her vulnerable to the Twilight's influence.
  • Cloudcuckoolander's Minder: She's the one who tries the hardest to keep Asuka grounded in reality.
  • Rocket-Powered Weapon: Her Equalizer form wields a rocket launcher that can transform into a rocket-powered hammer.
  • The Lancer

  • Precursor Hero: Her Fragment has been at the forefront of the war against the Twilight for some time, and they invented the Astral Module technology that Equalizers all around the Multiverse use.
  • Take Up My Sword: Once her Fragment falls to the Twilight, our Asuka realizes that they will have to take up her cause in her stead.

An alternate version of Yuu from another Fragment.

The King of Twilight

The entity at the head of the Twilight.
