Introduced in V2 ("The Big Four")
    Jim Greynolds
Jim Greynolds
Out of Focus: Due to an ambiguous/unresolved plot situation, the Big Four were not seen in the metaplot for a significant length of time and only eventually returned to relevance.

    Sonia Nguyen

    Steve Wilson
Steve Wilson
Out of Focus: Due to an ambiguous/unresolved plot situation, the Big Four were not seen in the metaplot for a significant length of time and only eventually returned to relevance. This was especially prevalent in Wilson's case, having featured prominently and staying sidelined for even longer than the others, to the point 'Wilson's task' became a bit of a running gag.

Introduced in V4

    Matt Richards
Matt Richards
  • Dirty Cop: Along with Baines, he is former law enforcement gone bad.
  • Sadist: Has an outstandingly nasty moment in V4's epilogue, when he intimidates Kimberly Nguyen by fake-amputating her thumb purely out of spite.
  • Those Two Guys: Amongst the AT, he shares this role with Baines.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: With, of course, Baines. They squabble constantly but are very close.

    Josh Baines
Josh Baines
  • Dirty Cop: Along with Richards, he is former law enforcement gone bad.
  • Odd Friendship: Strikes up something of one with Mara Montalvo as she hangs around the AT's base, mostly consisting of watching TV together.
  • Those Two Guys: Shares this role with Richards.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: Richards again.

Introduced in V6
    Josie Knight
Josie Knight
  • Deadpan Snarker: Even amongst the famously-snarky AT, Josie is outstandingly caustic.
  • Hates Everyone Equally: It is unclear as to whether Josie likes literally anyone.
  • Jerkass: Josie thinks you suck and wants you to know you suck.

Former Members
    Victor Danya
Victor Danya
  • Bad Boss: This was toned down over time, but early-era Victor Danya was extremely murder happy, frequently having subordinates killed for minor provocations and throwing three of them onto the island in V1.
  • Big Bad: The original terrorist leader and the man in charge for versions 1 through 4.
  • Character Death: He is killed during the STAR assault on the terrorists in late V4.

    Dorian Pello
Dorian Pello
  • The Dog Bites Back: Abused and mistreated by the AT and especially Victor Danya, it's Dorian who puts the nail in Danya's coffin by shooting him dead in STAR's attack on the terrorists' base.

    "Achlys"
"Achlys"
  • Back for the Dead: After being set up as the 'tech guy' for the AT early on, Achyls vanished from the plot entirely. He resurfaced in V4, but is then killed midway through, possibly due to being superceded by the better-developed Lourvey.
  • Dirty Coward: Moreso in his first appearances in Version One, but Achyls is a snivelling wimp who even resident Butt-Monkey Dorian looks down on.
  • Only Known by Their Nickname: His real name is never given, even on the AT's cast page.
  • You Have Failed Me: His screw-up results in Liz Polanski disabling her collar, and Danya has him executed for it.

    Melvin Carter
Melvin Carter
Back for the Dead: Much like the other Big Four members, Carter had been off screen for the entirety of V3 before his reappearance in V4. However, he is then killed by Sparky when she is caught out as a spy.

    "Sparky"
"Sparky"
  • The Mole: She's working for STAR and successfully infiltrated the AT, working as a technician.
  • Walking Spoiler: It's basically impossible to discuss Sparky without also discussing her role in V4's escape plot.
