Captain Jordan Lee
"The three of us against all the demons in the world, right?"
Jordan Lee is the beautiful leader of a three-man team consisting of herself - a powerful psychic, Vinnie - a Skin and Rabbit - a Smoke. Jordan's delicate looks and small (when compared to her inhuman teammates) stature conceal a will of iron and she faces down monsters without blinking an eyelid.
- Action Girl: Jordan. She leads the three-man team, she’s excels at unarmed combat and she seems to mostly wear combats and military gear. She even cosplays as Commander Shepard when they go to a costume party.
- All Amazons Want Hercules: Jordan seems to only date Skins and Alpha Skins at that. She's currently involved with Vinnie who virtually oozes testosterone and she's also very close to Tyr, another Alpha.
- Boyish Short Hair: In flashbacks, she's shown to have a long dark ponytail but later cuts her hair short. Coupled with her toned build and pretty yet somewhat androgynous features, she looks a bit like a Bifauxnen.
- Conveniently an Orphan: There's been no mention of Jordan's family at all. Apparently, the Coven took her in as a child.
- Fan Boy: A rare female example. Jordan is enough of nerd to cosplay as Commander Shepard
- Good Scars, Evil Scars: Jordan has a scar under her dead eye. Of course, this only makes her look like a badass without damaging her good looks.
- Manipulative Bastard: A rare female example. Jordan knows what makes her team mates tick and isn't afraid to use that to get what she wants. When she's trying to motivate Vinnie to to leave the dream world and join her on a dangerous mission, she manipulates his need to protect her and Rabbit, who he sees as his pack.
- Smoking Is Cool: She's often shown smoking. In meetings with the boss, in elevators, hospital wards - you know the usual places.
- Team Mom: Jordan holds the team together and even comes to collect a drunk Vinnie and Rabbit from the bar. Ironic she ended up in this role as she's always describing herself as not maternal.
- Undying Loyalty: Despite his fall from grace after the Kettletown mission, Jordan has stood by Vinnie. She even risks the Director's ire by using a new mission as an excuse to give him a second chance.
- Yaoi Fangirl: Big time. When Rabbit wants to tell them about his homoerotic dream featuring Tyr, Vinnie is indifferent but Jordan is eager to hear it. Again.
Vinegar (''Call Me Vinnie") Tom
"Maybe this is where I belong...with the other nightmares."
Loyal to his friends and death to his enemies, Vinnie is a huge, powerful Skin who acts as the team's powerhouse. He sees life as one big bar fight and his Heroic Build is matched by his larger-than-life personality.
- Berserk Button: Never disrespect Jordan in front of Vinnie. And mentioning Tyr's name is like flipping a personality switch. He goes from Boisterous Bruiser to cold and calculating sociopath. Of course, Tyr did put him in a coma so that may be the reason.
- Big Brother Instinct: Towards Rabbit. He's known Rabbit since they were orphaned in the last occult war and even now, still looks out for the irresponsible Smoke.
- Clueless Chick-Magnet: Rabbit's extremely hot sister is clearly still in love with him (even throwing herself onto him and kissing him passionately when they meet for the first time in years) but he dismisses it as her simply being happy to see him alive.
- Dark and Troubled Past: It's implied he lost his original pack as a child under traumatic circumstances. This explains why he's so protective of Jordan and Rabbit, his substitute pack.
- Dark Is Not Evil: Even the other Coven supernaturals see Vinnie as monster because of his berserker rage and unkept appearance but he's still incredibly loyal to his friends, chivalrous towards the opposite gender and acts as a kind of protective big brother to Rabbit.
- Healing Factor: In a fight with another Skin, he ends up with a broken nose, arm and other injuries. After shifting forms, he's back to normal. When he wakes from an induced coma , he immediately starts to recover and is shown to have regrown his shaved hair and beard in the present.
Rabbit
"Hmm, I've always had a thing for women in uniform. Always gets my engine going."
A beautiful, bisexual Smoke, Rabbit was originally included to add humor to the dark horror comic and appeal to the female demogragh and has since become one of the series' most popular characters.
- Fan Boy: Rabbit attends a costume party as Dante and refuses to even answer Jordan unless she addresses him as such!
- Manchild: Outside his job, Rabbit is completely irresponsible and somewhat immature and seems to regard Jordan and Vinnie almost like substitute parents at times. He gets extremely upset when they fight , much like a kid being torn between arguing parents.
- Mr. Fanservice: Most of the time Rabbit is shirtless or despite being canonically bisexual, shown with another guy. Guess that's what the ladies like!
- Pretty Boy: Rabbit. Slender, tall and leanly muscled, he has no body or facial hair and his features are quite feminine.
- The Pollyanna: Rare male example. Despite all he's been through, Rabbit is the most cheerful and upbeat of the team. Rabbit has probably had the roughest time out of the characters. It's implied he was orphaned in the occult war and then abandoned by his older siblings (
Word of God confirms this.) As a teenager, he ended up in the Pit, a supernatural prison because of something Vinnie did. And to top it off, his first love defected to the Coven's rival occult agency, leaving him to wake up in an empty quarters.
