The Hornsbys

    Theodore Hornsby Sr.
Voiced by:
The former megalomaniac CEO of Royal Crackers and Stebe and Theo's very abusive father. He's stuck in a super coma as an old man, but sometimes he happens to wake up...
  • Abusive Parents: Cared very little about his sons...and even cared much less about Stebe for no good reason.
  • Berserk Button: Not being in control and Theo's music.
  • Control Freak: He absolutely wishes to be in control of anything that his irrational hatred towards pilots comes from a very meager excuse (he didn't like knowing pilots helped people get to their destinations, much less so to himself).
  • Corrupt Corporate Executive: Has a long list of misdeeds. After regaining control of the company after being voted out of it, he has the board murdered.
  • Dark Lord on Life Support: Ends up in a comatose state.
  • Evil Is Petty: The more you know about him, the pettier he was.
  • Fantastic Racist: To pilots.
  • Faux Affably Evil: He present himself as friendly and cordial, but it doesn’t overshadow the fact that he hates his kids and people in general.
  • Freudian Excuse Is No Excuse: He is prejudiced against pilots just because one was simply telling him and the passengers that they'd arrive at their destination in one hour...and that's it. Alfred even lampshades it.
  • For the Evulz: He hates Stebe for almost no reason and even wrote his name with a "b" as a sign that he couldn't bother to give him a better name.
  • Hero Antagonist: In "Catalina."
  • Karmic Buttmonkey: He committed many atrocities in his youth, now is reduced to a comedic prop as a semi-conscious old man.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Other than the fact he became comatose for old age, his attempt to make Hornsbyland goes south when the Chupacabra he had as an attraction went nuts and killed tourists, which made the feline natives start attacking people. Act surprised.
  • Manipulative Bastard: Theodore is every much a megalomaniac in his pre-coma days.
  • Mean Boss: He had his company board killed for his attempts to turn Catalina Island into a theme park in his name which they used as a valid excuse to fire him.
  • Pragmatic Villainy: He expected his mind would fail with age and copied his brain into a router while still in his prime, attempting several times to download his brain into failed dysfunctional company workers to keep himself alive and nearly tried to do this to Matt. He has never ever considered doing this to Stebe, because he considers him just that much of a failure.
  • Shout-Out: To Walt Disney in "Catalina" when he decides to set up his theme park Hornsbyland.

    Stebe Hornsby
Voiced by: Jason Ruiz
The eldest child of Theodore who runs the Royal Crackers company with his wife Deb, Theo's older brother.
  • I Just Want to Be Loved: Has a lot of issues seeking affection; from his need to get approval from his abusive father, his lack of popularity compared to Theo's bygone days as a successful(?) rapper, his need for his own brother to enjoy being with him, and the fact Deb was his Second Love after pinning for a girl...who didn't even know him (and died brutally on the escalator for stopping at the wrong spot).
  • It's All About Me: Though Stebe tries to come across as someone who wishes to be appreciated, he does so in a way that he belittles everyone else so he feels better about himself. It didn't help that his father was a total jackass to him.
  • The Un-Favorite: Being named "Stebe" for starters. But it kept him from being considered by his father as a suitable host for his digitized mind.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: He has recurring nightmares of a man in a creepy dog suit, which turn out to be from a memory in his childhood when he and Theo were in the middle of a chaotic incident at Hornsbyland, where they just happened to see the same man running at them...because he was trying to flee from being murdered by a Chupacabra.

    Deb Hornsby
Voiced by: Jessica St. Clair
Stebe's wife, who wants to make the best out of Royal Crackers with varying results.
  • High-Powered Career Woman: Tries hard to come across as this, but she's perhaps nastier about her actions than Stebe.
  • Second Love: To her great chagrin, she's this to Stebe, who had proposed to a different girl who didn't even know who he was.

    Matt Hornsby
Voiced by: Maile Flanagan
Stebe and Deb's "loser" son, the only good egg in a World of Jerkass.
  • Butt-Monkey: Emotionally abused by his family and other kids.
  • I Just Want to Be Loved: Matt is the only good person in the entire show who only wants to be loved by his family and people, but he lives in a World of Jerkass kicking him down for his good intentions.
  • Secret Other Family: In "Business Mom," Matt was cheating on his family with the Dennisons.
  • Token Good Teammate: Downplayed. Matt is a Nice Guy while everyone in his family is a Jerkass.
  • Took a Level in Badass: At the start of season 2, he ends up fighting Sebastian Dennison and is pushed to the edge that he literally breaks him apart into pieces (like a glass bottle).

    Theo Hornsby
Voiced by: Andrew Santino
Full name Theodore Hornsby Jr., he is Stebe's younger brother, and formerly a member of the rock band TainT.
  • Cool Uncle: Theo is considered this by people in the company for being a rock star in his younger days, but now he's a washed-out adult who still is trying to show off his glory days to promote his bad boy persona. He's a joke among other entertainment workers.
  • "Well Done, Son" Guy: Just like his brother, his father's abusive behavior left him with a need to be recognized (though he's not as obvious as Stebe is), which George exploits to manipulate him.

Royal Crackers Staff

    Alfred
Voiced by: Fred Tatasciore
A Russian-American board member and senior member of the board.
  • Dude, Where's My Respect?: Despite being something of a father figure to the Hornsby brothers, none of them have any respect for him.
  • Morality Pet: Tries to be one to Theodore.
  • Only Sane Man: He's the closest the show has to a Reasonable Authority Figure who often tries to steer the Hornsby Family in the right direction, had a rocky relationship with Theodore Hornsby Sr. because Alfred was considered to be the next CEO over Theo's chaotic reign (but still tried to steer him right), protected the Hornsby kids when the Chupacabra brought havoc on Hornsbyland, and defended Matt from getting his brain taken over by his grandfather's virtual avatar.
  • Token Good Teammate: Downplayed. Played straight in his youth.

    Rachel
Voiced by: Stephanie Sheh
An (apparent) Asian-American board member in charge of marketing.
  • A Day in the Limelight: In "Rachel".
  • Humanity Is Infectious: Spending time with humans and falling in love with one caused her to be on the fence about killing them for Subterra's plan to dominate the planet. When she avoids an assassination attempt, this is what causes her to rebel against her kind and kill them all using their own spores.
  • Last of Her Kind: She's the only surviving Subterranean after killing all of them.
  • Mobile-Suit Human: She's actually a small mushroom person piloting a robot.
  • The Mole: Revealed to be an infiltrator by a race of sentient mushroom creatures living underground trying to kill all of humanity to claim the world as theirs.
  • Ultraterrestrials: She's a sentient mushroom that originates from an underground city.
  • Walking Spoiler: The fact she's a little sentient mushroom riding a Mobile-Suit Human to (reluctantly) exterminate humanity in the name of her mother Queen Vasha.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: Her reaction to Stebe introducing his version of Crackie as the company mascot.

    Darby Blarchardt
Voiced by: David Gborie
Royal Crackers and by extension the Hornsby's lawyer and former criminal lawyer.
  • Forgotten First Meeting: He completely forgot about meeting Doris when he signed up to be her lawyer.
  • Rule of Cool: His attempts to create Home Alone traps, which are incredibly useless.
  • The Unreveal: It's never revealed why he never showed up to assist Doris in her trial that led to her imprisonment.

The Dennisons

    Luther Dennison
The founder of Dennison Snacks and formerly Theodore Hornsby Sr.'s friend, who deserted Theodore once he couldn't handle Theo's polarizing ideas for Royal Crackers.
  • Start My Own: He couldn't take Theodore's ideas and defected from him to start Dennison Snacks.
  • Token Good Teammate: He used to be this in the past compared to Theo's megalomaniac attitude, though many decades later, he became worse as a person.

    Rob Dennison
The co-founder of Dennison Snacks and Luther's son. Mel's husband.

    Mel Dennison
The co-founder of Dennison Snacks. Rob's wife.

    Sebastian Dennison
Rob and Mel's eldest son, who wishes to become a rapper.

Others

    Moey D
Voiced by: Jamar Neighbors
A former member of TainT and Theo's friend. He now runs a bar.
  • Butt-Monkey: His main role as a member of the band was being physically abused by the other members, which drove a wedge in his relationship with his ex-wife Janice who couldn't be with a man being okay receiving so much crap from everyone, making him unfit to be around his son.
  • Took a Level in Badass: His experiences as the group's Butt-Monkey come through for him when he uses himself as a link to help Stebe and Theo go from tower to tower to reach the extraction point and escape Bidai.

    George Zeebos
An eccentric billionaire and most popular businessman in the world who has a penchant to laugh a lot.
  • Cyborg: He's revealed to be this when he tries to kill the Hornsby family.
  • Naked People Are Funny: By his second appearance, he prefers to go around nude.
  • No Celebrities Were Harmed: He's a clear parody of Amazon's former president and CEO Jeff Bezos.
  • Serious Business: He doesn't take too kindly on millionaires posing as billionaires that he kills them should they infiltrate his cruise ship party.
  • Verbal Tic: He can't stop talking without laughing mockingly.
