The Souljammer
A human from the planet Tropis, who unknowingly had been chosen to wield the Souljammer.
- Instant Expert: Miku is immediately able to use the turret on Aila's Star Crystal to destroy a squadron of black skull fighters.
An Alfar who crash-landed on tropis and turned Miku's life upside down.
- Posthumous Character: He dies halfway through the first chapter, but by absorbing into the Souljammer he is able to continue on and help Miku learn about the rest of the universe.
An ancient and immensely powerful weapon hidden away from the universe.
- Empathic Weapon: It has a mind of its own, separate from Kalem's mind.
- Lost Superweapon: Nobody was even sure if it still existed until Kalem finally found it.
- Only the Chosen May Wield: It rejects Kalem's attempts to take control of it, only allowing Miku to do so.
- Power Crystal: The Souljammer has a lot of power for being such a small object.
- Shapeshifter Weapon: It can shape its energy to make a more powerful version of any weapon Miku carries
Alfheim
Kalem's daughter, a pilot who inspired his search for the Souljammer, and came to rescue him when he found it.
The Supreme Commander of the Alfheim Armed Forces, and in the words of Kalem, a "ragged, old, stuck-up, racist transphobic fascist."
- Evil Old Folks: Chendrelle takes literally any opportunity she can to disrespect a dead soldier, misgendering Kalem every chance she gets.
- War Hawk: Chandrelle is using the war with the Black Skulls to accrue as much power as she can.

An ancient Evil Overlord who had been defeated by the Souljammer 10,000 years ago
Corda Cordova
Miku's best friend, brainwashed into fighting for the Black Skulls.
- Dramatic Irony: Corda wants to kill the carrier of the Souljammer for taking Miku from her, unaware that Miku is the carrier of the Souljammer.
- Expy: Of Catra from She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, though being trick into fighting her beloved here.
- More than Mind Control: The Silent Skull who brainwashes Corda abuses her love for Miku to make her want revenge for Miku's disappearance.
