- Childhood Friends: With Kyuu.
- Childhood Friend Romance: If you date her.
- Victorious Childhood Friend: If you choose her as Kyuu's girlfriend in the end.
- Girlish Pigtails: Her hair style.
- Interface Spoiler: Why would the game tell you you've established a relationship with her if she wasn't going to join you in Rakenzarn? Also counts as Spoiled by the Manual, since the game's guide lists her as a possible love interest for the Romance Sidequest even before that.
- Ordinary High-School Student: Like Kyuu. And like him, she's sent in Rakenzarn when she finds the book in his apartment.
- Photographic Memory: Demonstrated when she first arrives, recalling an exact amount of dropped change.
- Ship Tease: Even before the Romance Sidequest, there seems to be something between her and Kyuu. During the Prologue, they eat together in a restaurant and, in Chapter 5, she tells Kyuu that she was worried because he disappeared. Fittingly, she's the girl with whom it's the easiest to begin the Romance Sidequest.
- Trapped in Another World: In Chapter 10, after finding Kyuu's book. She seems to deal with it a lot better than you would expect.
- Nerizza and Vri (OCs)
- Cat Folk: They're the first fully furry allies in the game.
- Even the Girls Want Her: One of the female Black Scar members comments on how hot she thinks they are.
- Everyone Has Standards: Despite being thieves, they aid Mayu due to their distaste for the Black Scar gang and their ties to slavery rings.
- Family of Choice: They officially described as being "sisters in all but blood".
- Interspecies Romance: Vri is dating Mitsu.
- Refusal of the Call: They both turn down continuing the journey with Mayu after Bluelake Town since neither of them is really comfortable with going on a big adventure, but agree to help out in a supporting manner.

- Fangirl: Of Frank West. She squeals when they first meet him.
- Fiery Redhead: Her first reaction when she meets Axel is to punch him because he got her worried. Then she hugs him.
