Voiced by: Michael Akkerman
Appears in: Hedge Base | The Prisoner Operation | Lucifer

The Commanding Officer of Trojan Company, 1st Green Infantry Division.

  • Blood Knight: He'd rather kill the enemy than take them prisoner, and in the event he does, he uses them for target practice.
  • The Captain: ... Well, duh.
  • Cold-Blooded Torture: In The Prisoner Operation, he has Crisp torch both of Windsor's legs, stabs a private with a bayonet. then give him a Glasgow smile to extract information from them.
  • Dude, Where's My Respect?: In The Prisoner Operation, Macabre successfully captures Major Windsor and gains some intelligence on General Dune's location, as well as the existence of the Lucifer gun, and the strength of the 10th Armored Division. However, he does not receive the promised promotion, due to failing to acquire three more prisoners to gather more information. Macabre is... less than pleased.
Macabre: General, I got your fucking major! Now Stalwart and I, we're lucky to be alive! Hell, Moss is dead, 1st Platoon is still out there on the Pugna Line being pulled out by fucking Lieutenant Pine and his Death Company, Armored Battalion! Now, I brought you what you asked for and I risked a lot! Most men are rewarded for that!
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: It really doesn't take much to set him off, and he's often frightening when let off the handle.
  • Hero Protagonist: "Hero" would be a stretch, but he's the closest thing to a main character in the series.
  • Hot-Blooded: One of the best ways to describe him.
  • Leave No Survivors: "We're Greens, son. We don't take prisoners."
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The impulsive, trigger-happy red to Stalwart's quiet, reserved blue.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: Particularly when angered, which is often.
     Stalwart

Sergeant Stalwart

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sergeant_stalwart.jpg

Voiced by: Jesse Garrard (Hedge Base) / Holden Weihs (The Prisoner Operation)
Appears in: Hedge Base | The Prisoner Operation | Lucifer

The Company Executive Officer of Trojan Company, 1st Green Infantry Division, and Captain Macabre's adjutant.

  • The Lancer: To Macabre; the latter's more passionate emotions contrasts with Stalwart's stoic demeanor.
  • Meaningful Name: "Stalwart" means loyal, reliable, and hardworking, which suits his position as a dependable second-in-command.
  • Number Two: Macabre's adjutant and second-in-command of Trojan Company.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Stalwart is much more calm and reserved, compared to the emotional, short-tempered Macabre.
  • Sergeant Rock: Proven to be a reliable commander in his own right, most notably when leading half the Company in Hedge Base.
  • The Stoic: He's not particularly emotive, often described as the "walk softly and carry a big stick" type.
     Moss

Sergeant Moss

Voiced by: Derek Sulek
Appears in: Hedge Base (cameo) | The Prisoner Operation

The NCO of 3rd Platoon, Trojan Company, 1st Green Infantry Division, who participated in the Battle of Hedge Base, and later became a major participant in the capture of Major Windsor.

  • Big Brother Mentor: To some of the new recruits. In the opening of The Prisoner Operation, he's seen helping Private Bowie improve his aim, by shooting Tan prisoners.
  • Hot-Blooded: Even more so than Captain Macabre, which is really saying something.
  • Remember the New Guy?: Was apparently in the Battle of Hedge Base, but wasn't named until The Prisoner Operation.

     Crisp

Private Crisp

Voiced by: Michael Wright
Appears in: The Prisoner Operation

A soft-spoken, sadistic flamethrower specialist in Trojan Company.

  • Kill It with Fire: Specializes in this.
  • Mauve Shirt: The fact that he's named at all keeps him from being a Red Shirt, but he does play a role in the interrogation of Major Windsor.
  • Pyromaniac: And how. He clearly gets a kick out of torching Tans, especially when asked to melt Major Windsor's legs.

     Mantis

Private Mantis

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/screenshot_20180716_142730_youtube.jpg
Voiced by: Cesar Santamaria, Jr.
Appears in: The Prisoner Operation

A private gunner of Trojan Company.

  • Character Death: Blown to smithereens by a Tan tank.
  • Mauve Shirt: At the very least given a name and a few lines to have an identity, though it doesn't save his life.
  • Shoot the Hostage: Kills Private Wheat when he uses Brown's diversion to make a run for it.
     Chartreuse

Privare Chartreuse

Appears in: The Prisoner Operation

A sharpshooter in Trojan Company.

Azazel Island Garrison

     Hyde

Major Hyde

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/20180716_122844.jpg

Voiced by: Scott Gold
Appears in: The Sabre-Tooth

The Commanding Officer of the Green garrison stationed on Azazel Island, AKA "The Sabre-Tooth".

  • Asshole Victim: It's safe to say no one was particularly saddened by his death.
  • Bad Boss: Not only is he extremely hard-headed, but he constantly berates his subordinates, refuses to consider retreat or surrender, and only cares about defeating the Tans, regardless of how ill-equipped his men are. He even shoots one of his subordinates when he suggests they surrender, as the Tans are literally at his command post's doorstep.
Major Hyde: Sergeant, you'd better tell me you pushed those fucking sandmen back into the jungle or I'll have you executed for treason!
  • Big Bad: He serves as the main antagonist of The Sabre-Tooth, commanding the Green garrison that's preventing the Tans from taking Azazel Island.
  • Big "SHUT UP!": Right before shooting a subordinate for conceding defeat.
    Green Soldier: Sir, it's over!
    Major Hyde: SHUT UP!
(Major Hyde promptly shoots the soldier in the face)
  • Dirty Coward: While Hyde's men are fighting on the front, he's hiding away in his bunker, screaming suicidal orders at Shamrock. When the Tans actually break through the defenses and literally knock down his doors, Hyde freaks out, unable to speak coherently as he's savagely gunned down by Windsor and his men.
  • General Ripper: He only cares about holding the Sabre-Tooth and driving back the Tans, and he doesn't care how many men he loses in the process.
  • Jerkass: He spends almost all of his screen time berating Shamrock and his troops despite them doing everything they can in the given circumstances.
  • Mirror Character: He and Major Kilroy are like an unstoppable force that meets an immovable object. Both are obscenely stubborn to the detriment of their men, and are completely out of their minds. Hyde is essentially Kilroy in a defensive position, rather than offensive.
  • The Napoleon: Notably shorter than his entire command staff. It doesn't stop him from being any less vicious.
  • The Neidermeyer: His own troops begin to realize how batshit insane he is when he orders the defending garrison to launch an assault on the Tans, despite their extremely limited supplies and ignoring the fact that they're better off holding their position.
  • No Indoor Voice: You'd be hard-pressed to find any lines where he's not shouting.
Major Hyde: FUCK THE WHITE FLAG!
(Cut to Windsor and Viking Company listening in from outside)
Major Hyde: YOU, WHY ARE YOU TELLING ME THIS?! THIS IS CRAZY! WHO ARE YOU?! I'M GONNA CALL YOU PRIVATE WORTHLESS!
  • No Kill like Overkill: Windsor and his men pump him full of lead when he tries to pull his gun on them.
  • Orcus on His Throne: Spends the entire battle screaming at his subordinates from the comfort of his command post, never bothering to get involved himself until the Tans literally knock down his doors.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The volatile red to Shamrock's calm blue.
  • Sadist: Sanctions the Cold-Blooded Torture of several Tan prisoners, and has them strung up in the trees to demoralize the enemy... while they're still alive.
  • Suicidal Overconfidence: He seriously thinks his ill-equipped, meager force can go on the offensive against the Tans after driving them back. 1.) The Tans have them almost completely surrounded and the garrison is running low on supplies and ammunition. 2.) Regardless of the casualties the Tans suffered, they still outnumber the garrison by a pretty wide margin. 3.) The Tans have tanks, and the defensive turrets are their only anti-armor weapons.
  • Villainous Breakdown: He wasn't the most stable fellow to begin with, but he really starts to lose it when the Tans break through the Sabre-Tooth's defenses. When Windsor and his men come knocking on his door, he dies blubbering and screaming as he's filled with lead.
Major Hyde: Sergeant [Shamrock], your job is to defeat the Tans! DEFEAT THEM! NOT LET THEM BREAK OUR LINE!

     Shamrock

Sergeant Shamrock

Voiced by: Luke Wiley
Appears in: The Sabre-Tooth

Major Hyde's adjutant.

  • Alas, Poor Villain: Not a "villain" per say, but the ending of The Sabre-Tooth treats his death with solemnity, as he was one of the few nice characters, and held a genuinely civil conversation with the Tans.
  • Anti-Villain: While he's Major Hyde's Dragon, he's probably the closest thing to a Nice Guy you can get in this series.
  • Benevolent Boss: In comparison to Major Hyde, which isn't very hard, since he doesn't berate his subordinates and actually cares about their well-being enough to surrender when it's clear the battle is lost.
  • The Dragon: To Major Hyde, being the second-in-command of the garrison.
  • Dragon-in-Chief: Major Hyde does little beyond bark orders from his bunker, meaning Shamrock is effectively the main reason the Sabre-Tooth held out for as long as it did. Once the Tans overwhelm his forces, the battle is over.
  • Dragon Their Feet: Whereas Major Hyde is killed defending the Sabre-Tooth, Shamrock surrenders when it's clear the Tans have won, and would rather be taken prisoner to save the lives of his men. However, Gordon suffers a severe case of Sanity Slippage and attacks the Tans, resulting in Shamrock's death.
  • The Heavy: Major Hyde may be the man in charge, but Shamrock does most of the grunt work, and actively participates in the battle.
  • Hyper-Competent Sidekick: Shamrock's much more competent and sane than Hyde. While Hyde's barking orders, Shamrock's the one who ensures they're carried out and personally commands the defense of the garrison.
  • Know When to Fold 'Em: Eventually decides it's not worth fighting the Tans when they're flooding their outpost and decides to surrender.
  • Nice Guy: Probably one of the very few genuine nice guys in the series, if only by virtue of not being a batshit insane Blood Knight. He even manages to hold a civil conversation with Tuscan. Sadly, it doesn't last when a mentally broken Gordon fires on the Tans.
  • Oh, Crap!: When he sees Tuscan and his men charge their position, he noticeably freaks out a little.
Shamrock: Shit! Fire, FIRE, FIRE, FIRE, FIRE, FIRE!
  • Punch-Clock Villain: In the antagonist sense, as The Sabre-Tooth is primarily told from the Tans' perspective. Shamrock doesn't demonstrate any of the Fantastic Racism or sadistic tendencies of most commanders and is more concerned with just surviving and doing what he can to save his men.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The calm blue to Hyde's red. Unfortunately, he can't reel in Hyde's Blood Knight tendencies.
  • Sergeant Rock: The garrison defers to his authority, and he commands the defense on his own fairly well, excluding Major Hyde.
  • Surrender Backfire: While he really did intend on surrendering, Gordon, suffering from severe Sanity Slippage, fired at Tuscan, making the Tans believe I Surrender, Suckers was in effect, resulting in Shamrock and his surviving men being gunned down.
  • Too Good for This Sinful Earth: For one of the nicest characters, he's given probably one of the most tragic deaths in the series.

     Gordon

Corporal Gordon

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/20180716_122926.jpg

Voiced by: Cole Grey
Appears in: The Sabre-Tooth

A nervous corporal of the Azazel Green garrison.

  • Madness Mantra: "I'm gonna kill 'em, Sarge! I'm gonna kill 'em! I'm gonna kill 'em!"
  • Mauve Shirt: He's given decent amount of screen time and characterization that makes him stand out.
  • Nervous Wreck: The pressure of the Tan invasion is clearly weighing on him, and he ultimately snaps when the tide of the battle turns in the Tans' favor.
  • Sanity Slippage: Whatever's left of his sanity completely evaporates once the Tans start pouring through the Sabre-Tooth's defenses. He spends the rest of the battle incoherently screaming bloody murder out of fear and panic.
Green Soldier: Gordon, don't waste your ammo!
    (Gordon shoves the soldier away)
Corporal Gordon: LEAVE ME ALONE! DIE, YOU SAND FUCKS!
