    Hypnalis 
Level: 5
Alignment: True Neutral
Size: Medium

  • Hunting the Most Dangerous Game: Sinister, young or hot-headed hypnalises hunt trespassers for sport, tormenting them for a while before killing them or expelling them to the Material Plane.
  • Poisonous Person: A hypnalis carries a venom that is not only deadly, but can force creatures off the Ethereal Plane.

    Phantom 
Alignment: Any

  • Barred from the Afterlife: Phantoms are souls in queue for judgement that prematurely depart from the River of Souls and are shunted into the Ethereal Plane, where they linger in a sort of purgatory. Many phantoms have no desire to remain in this status and seek to complete the natural spiritual cycle and continue to the afterlife, but finding a way back into the River of Souls is no easy feat.

    Sishkanset 
Level: 8
Alignment: Neutral Evil
Size: Medium

  • Blow You Away: A sishkanset can create a line of freezing, madness-laced winds.
  • Dying Alone: When an individual dies in the wilderness, lost and utterly alone, their souls carry enough despair that their passage through the Ethereal Plane leaves a psychic impression, which eventually coalesces into a sishkanset.
