     Seungho 
A nobleman who is intrigued by Na-Kyum's erotic artwork and seeks the man down in order to have him create paintings for him.
  • All Gays are Promiscuous: He has not shown to be interested in women and all of his lovers are men. He also doesn't hide his sodomy with his lovers and his affairs are well known around the area. He also makes Na-Kyum watch him and his lovers have sex in order for the painter to create more paintings.
  • Ax-Crazy: He immediately kills one of his servants when Na-Kyum tries to deny he's not the painter the lord is looking for.
  • Love Epiphany: When Jihwa confessing his feelings for Seungho, he realize that he's in love with Nakyum.
  • Sour Outside, Sad Inside: Seungho infamously known as sadistic and lustful person, but his childhood shown that he got abused by his father when he finds out that Seungho is gay. He desperately needs someone who loves him.
  • Stepford Smiler: He rarely drops his smiles, which only seem to make him more threatening.
  • The Un-Favourite: It's implied that his father favor over his younger brother, Seungwon.
  • What Is This Feeling?: He gets confused at his own feelings sometimes when he wonders why he enjoys seeing Na-Kyum cry especially when he has sex with Na-Kyum after the other gets drunk.
  • Yandere: He slowly becomes this for Na-Kyum going so far as to not only toss away his previous lovers once he's become enamored with the painter, going so far as to threaten others or get possessive when Na-Kyum is shown affection from others.

     Na-Kyum 
A timid painter who has sworn off ever painting anymore of his erotic artworks, but is forced to paint once more under Seungho's orders.
  • All Love Is Unrequited: He has feelings towards his teacher. However, his teacher not only doesn't return the feelings, he punished Na-Kyum for his paintings, ordering him to never paint erotic art again, and only sees Na-Kyum as a tool for him to climb higher in the ranks of nobility. When his teacher leaves for the exams without saying goodbye, Na-Kyum seems to have slowly given up on ever gaining his teachers affections, even telling a servant he can throw away the painting he made for his teacher.
  • Drowning My Sorrows: He's first introduced getting drunk at a bar after he swears off never painting again. After he starts to realize how little his teacher cares for him, he steals the expensive alcohol that Seungho and his guests were supposed to drink and passes out in his room. He also ends up having sex with Seungho, mistaking him for his teacher.
  • Photographic Memory: He can remember every detail from something he's seen and transfer that on to paper. When Seungho has sex with his lovers, he makes Na-Kyum come in and watch so he can paint.
  • Prone to Tears: He tends to cry a lot, especially around Seungho who scares him a lot and when the two start having sex.
  • Unexpected Virgin: Despite his skills at creating exquisite erotic art, he actually never had sex until later on with Seungho.
  • What Did I Do Last Night?: After he accidentally gets drunk, he can't remember that he had his first time with Seungho, but later on it's shown that he was likely suppressing the memory.
