* AnythingThatMoves[=/=]MemeticMolester: Tappei has absolutely no problems flirting with ''anyone'' it seems, including Hiroyuki. For example, during Tatsuki's route, you find the father and son drinking rather early in the morning, and Tappei tries to put the moves on Hiroyuki, much to Tatsuki's dismay.

* FriendsWithBenefits: With Botan, Shigure, and '''[[AnythingThatMoves pretty much everyone he can]]'''.

* TeensAreShort: May partially be a consequence of the game's art style, but even within the game itself it's noted that Shun is rather small for a 16-year-old wolf, and the biggest example of this trope in the group. He's the shortest out of the main cast and even shorter than Soutarou, who's a year younger than him. Even more jarring is that his cousins Ten and Gaku aren't much older than him and yet they dwarf him. Hiroyuki at first theorizes he could be malnourished, but upon seeing the rest of Shun's immediate family he realizes it's hereditary.

He does it ''again'' in an encounter at the local library, where while Hiroyuki is talking with Shin about writing, he makes an accompanying gesture that Juuichi thinks is meant to imply that same trope.

* FurryEarDissonance: When Chuukichi's ears are freed from his bandana, not only are shaped like MickeyMouse ears, but they also have hair behind them, which real rats don't have.

* IllBoy: Shin suffers from acute asthma, [[spoiler:which is why he lives in the tiny village of Minosato instead of much closer to his parents' corporation: it was to recover from a life-threatening asthma attack he had as a child, an event that also ties into his self-concsious issues.]] This could also explain why Shin is not in a club and why he does not do too much physical activity. * MisunderstoodLonerWithAHeartOfGold: There are very good reasons why Shin acts the way he does. [[spoiler:For example, in the very first day he became friends with the gang, Torahiko and Kounosuke had broken an ornament he liked; Then, they proceeded to pull a prank on the IllBoy and caused him to be afraid of water for life; The dialogue in the game further implies these sorts of pranks still go on uninterrupted, ranging from Kounosuke forcing him to go swimming to taking pictures of him while sleeping and making the whole school laugh at him, [[WithFriendsLikeThese and more often than not make him break down crying]].]]

* CryCute: He [[RunningAwayToCry runs off crying]] after Kounosuke pulls a prank on him to get on the water [[spoiler:Also when he finally confesses his feelings to Hiroyuki, but less so in the "Rape" ending.]]

''He is a very hard working and timid boy who loves soccer. He belongs to the local soccer club. He and his upperclassman, Kyouji, work up a sweat practicing every day. Because [[DisappearedDad he grew up without a father]], he relies on and [[HeroWorshipper adores his upperclassman Takahara]]. Sometimes [[MoeStare he shows an impressive and bright smile]]. He moved to the village three years ago, so this is his first time meeting the main character.''

* AllAnimalsAreDogs: Granted he's a wolf so he's closer than most examples, but nonetheless Shun behaves more like a stereotypical dog than any of the ''actual'' dogs in the cast do. He's friendly, energetic, trusting, [[TheGlomp glomps]] people he likes, wags his tail when excited, [[UpToEleven and even peppers his dialogue with a "woof" or other dog-like noises from time to time]]. One might be forgiven for thinking he ''is'' a dog if the game didn't specify otherwise.

* SatelliteCharacter: A unique case for this game - because his role in the plot only concerns Kouya, he's the only character in the entire story who makes a physical (visual) appearance yet Hiroyuki cannot meet or interact with in any way.

* SpotOfTea: Anytime Hiro visits Shin's house, there's almost ''always'' tea being served (usually black). Usually with some baked good that Shin made. There's even a conversation towards the end of the game between Amaki and Shin about what kind of tea to make.

* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: Not only on his head, but also on his tail. However, since it's a pretty dark blue, [[HairColorDissonance it may actually be black hair]].

* {{Bishonen}}: Shin is a babyfaced prettyboy who is shorter and much slighter than most of the characters, appearing almost fragile and gaunt. But he's already in high school, so he's not necessarily younger than most of them.
