Shield Hero Party

In General

• Original Character: Majority of the team is comprised of characters that weren't in canon, such as Neia, Kirishima (the dragon), and Daven.

Katsuki Bakugou

• Composite Character: With Naofumi from Shield Hero canon, taking the latter's role as the Shield Hero.
• Jerkass Has a Point: When Malty tries to join him, he quickly rebukes her. While he had been rude about it and the court had been offended, he is not wrong when he pointed out that her Nice Girl act was a farce.
• Never Gets Drunk: Averted with Bakugou, unlike Naofumi who can eat multiple Rucolu without feeling the least bit drunk, when Bakugou tries one even with multiple boosts and abilities he immediately gets sick from it and had to quickly throw it up.
• Would Hit a Girl: True to My Hero Academia, he has no issues hitting girls. Partway during Malty's trial, he outright slams his Shield into her face which gave her a bloody nose and after the slave crest used in her trial shocked her into exhaustion while keeping her from harming anyone, he stomps on her stomach as she sobs from how painful and humiliating it was. Given how much of a bitch she had shown herself to be, many people do not feel bad about him doing so.

Neia Varon

• Amazing Technicolor Population: Neia has noticeably light blue skin that makes her always stick out around everyone that even Bakugou nicknames her for it. Being a water elf, it fits with her element.
• Beware of the Nice Ones: She is the nicest and most polite of the group, and was originally very weak both physically and mentally when Bakugou first found her. But after hard training and experience dealing with many different threats and evil people like Malty while still nice and pleasant person, she had became a lot more harden and confident of her abilities, now if you push her buttons and try to harm her or her friends she will fight back hard and make you feel the pain of it even if you’re a cardinal hero like Motoyasu.
• Making a Splash: she has an affinity for water magic, but despite being a water Elf herself Neia struggles to do any sort of water based magic. She continued to struggle despite growing power and levels, until she made up with Melty in Siltvelt who began to help train her.
• Our Elves Are Different: While not much is known about her species as a whole, as a water Elf Neia has blue skin, is able to breath underwater seemingly indefinitely, and has affinity to both water and electricity magic. Neia has also implied that her species have longer life spans then humans.
• Rude Hero, Nice Sidekick: Her general shtick between herself and Bakugou. She’s a kind sweetheart who tries to be polite to everyone, while Bakugou is… well his typical Bakugou self.

Kirishima

• Action Pet: He is more or less this, acting like Katsuki’s giant attack dog usually being sent directly into any battle to go on a rampage to tear apart or burn monsters or Bakugou’s enemies.
• The Baby of the Bunch: Kirishima is the youngest in the group, only a few months old at most after Bakugou hatched him only a few days after finding his egg.
• Big Eater: With him leveling up to eventually becoming a massive Pureblood Dragon he has to eat a lot to sustain himself, he also tends to eat up a lot of the enemies he fights against, including human and Demi-humans.
• Breath Weapon: Like any other typical dragon, he can breathe fire.
• Shoulder Teammate: Kirishima is usually laying himself on Bakugou’s shoulders whenever he is in his toddler form.
• Signature Team Transport: Once he grew to his adult form and gained the ability to fly, he acts as the groups form of transportation when they are not fast traveling to places. He can fly over huge stretches of land to different countries or across the ocean in significantly less time then it would from horse, filolia, or boat.

Rino Lidera

• Adaptational Hairstyle Change: Her hair was changed from long, blonde, and curly to brown and bobbed.
• The Gadfly: Likes to lightheartedly snark and tease people sometimes.
• Named by the Adaptation: She has no known last name in canon, but here, her last name is Lidera.
• Robe and Wizard Hat: Since joining Bakugou’s group, she stops wearing robes and is now wearing light combat armor which boosts her magic and provides magical defense. She however still wears a witch's hat like she had when with Motoyasu, but the hat still provides magic buffs to her, so it’s not just for show.
• Team Member in the Adaptation: She was never a part of Naofumi’s core party in canon, but here after saving her life Rino quickly becomes a member of Bakugou’s party/hero agency.
• Token Good Teammate: While in Motoyasu’s party, Rino was the only true morally good member who actually cared about helping people and her leader. Myne and Lesty are both horrible people who are only taking advantage of him to exploit his cardinal hero status, and Elena was just extremely lazy and just went along with Myne and Lesty’s evil antics.

Daven Serita

• Age Lift: Averted, despite Demi-humans being able to physically age faster as they level up, Daven was allowed to age naturally as a true 19 year old. When he was reduced back to level one in Glass’s universe, while Rifana reverted physically back to a little girl, Daven remained as a young adult as that was his actual age.
• Casting a Shadow: His magic affinity is of dark magic.
• Cat Folk: Daven is a Cat Demi-human like his parents. Having cat ears, claws, a tail, and some fur around his body.
• Flashy Teleportation: Whenever Daven uses his teleporting magic, it always leaves behind some sort of black smoke. Bakugou even compares it to Nightcrawler's teleporting ability.

Rifana

• Age Lift: A literal in-universe one, like other Demi-humans she physically ages the higher her levels go up. After her class upgrade in Cal Mira she has the body of a young adult now.
• Blow You Away: She has affinity for wind magic.
• Master Archer: She specializes in using a bow and is good enough for Katsuki to accept her into his party.
• Sixth Ranger: She joins the party after the battle with the Spirit Tortoise.
• Spared by the Adaptation: She was saved in the nick of time thanks to Lord Reichnott and one of the Queen's shadows.
