Ho Yay: His lines regarding Connor seem to suggest more than respect... - Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds: Shinya gets his ass handed to him...despite being able to deploy cruise missiles, Kill sats, Wave Motion Guns and armies of Tanks.
Bluebird
A clingy jealous, Iaijutsu practicing Yandere who has a crush on Connor after he saved her life sometime during the previous game.
- Badass Adorable: She is pretty cute. She'll also kick your ass if you stand between her and Connor.
- Iaijutsu Practitioner: The resident of the series, though Noctis can copy some of her moves.
- Lover Tug of War: Has one with Exie over Connor in her ending in 2.
- Yandere: Towards Connor.
