Arwaut Wentelvlerck
- Perfectly Arranged Marriage: The particular candidate for marriage was not determined by the parent, but Dagonaut eventually forced him to marry anyone, which after some drama ended up his best friend Nicola... but it worked out very well in the end.
Nicola van Rijckevorsel
- Babies Make Everything Better: Very much agrees with this sentiment. A very problematic triplet pregnancy only temporarily tempered her enthusiasm to fill up their previously empty mansion with offspring.
- The Baby Trap: Downplayed, as in she's not exactly forcing Arwaut to help with creating the next generation, but she is extremely persistent in getting him to cooperate...
- Fat and Proud: Very happy with and proud of her sizeable hips in particular (which is also a traditional dragon beauty trait), but also of the rest of her body, even if her exact weight fluctuates considerably, depending on her mood. Gets angry when an artist depicts her as skinnier than she is.
- Massive Numbered Siblings: Invoked. Why have one hatchling when you can have eight?
- Too Many Babies: An oversized triplet egg (as depicted here
) inconvenienced her for many months, and quite upset her normally even temper. Once it was out, however, everything was back to bliss.

- Neat Freak: Downplayed. She likes to be personally clean and takes a lot of baths, but her rooms may be messy.
