- Character Development: As a Danganronpa story and a story in general, this is a given.
- First-Name Basis: Mainly everyone.
- Teen Genius: Everyone is a genius in a certain level of field. Nonetheless, they are in Danganronpa solving murder cases.
- The Ace: Everyone here is relatively perfect at one thing.
Girls
Mayari Liu - Ultimate Epidemiologist
Mayari Liu, the Ultimate Epidemiologist, is the main character of the story. Created by the author of the story, Mayari is a short and petite teenage girl who is caught within the realms of the killing game. A confident and slightly snarky type of character, she loves to be sociable and act friendly towards anyone... rather, if you don't piss her off, that is.
- Badass Adorable: Being short, Mayari can be seen as a rather cute individual. It is noted from the author that she knows how to throw a punch at least.
- Genki Girl: She is a very energetic individual, not short on emotions. This is usually seen with how she acts towards others, especially with how emotive she can get.
- Height Angst: She may act like such, though she would rather not show it. It is obvious it does tend to bother her though.
- The Protagonist: Mayari is the main character of this story.
Margaret Barbara Simmons - Ultimate Makeup Historian
Margaret Barbara Simmons is a character created by Prince Poke Persona. She is a motherly sort of figure with a slightly traditional outlook on the world around her. Despite this, however, she does come with good intentions and wants nothing more than to take care of the people around her.
Nao Mitsurugi - Ultimate Basketball Player
Created by Lupus Overkill, Nao Mitsurugi is a well-grounded and kind soul. Despite being relatively tall for her age (hence why she is a basketball player), she is very sweet and friendly towards others, though much more grounded and quieter than Margaret.
- Nice Guy: She is relatively kind towards people.
Silvana 'Agna' Bellandi - Ultimate Sin Eater
Silvana Bellandi is the Ultimate Sin Eater, created by The Rose Shadow 21. She is a quiet and careful individual, one who takes time to think of what to say and one who is polite towards other characters.
Elodie Mallette - Ultimate Thanatologist
Created by Ziggymia 123, Elodie is the Utlimate Thanatologist. Despite her rather grim talent, she seems very sweet and upbeat. She is very friendly towards the people around her and grounded in her heels.
Males
Nobuyuki Kawaguchi - Ultimate Psychologist
Nobuyuki Kawaguchi is the Ultimate Psychologist, created by mpjindustries. As a psychologist, Nobuyuki is nothing short of extravagant, though it seems like he is not one to back down from stirring up some trouble.
- Jerkass: Mayari mainly considers him as this, and for good reason.
- The Rival: Seems to look like this towards Mayari.
Mazen Ola - Ultimate Time Traveler
A time traveler, Mazen Ola, created by Swordsman 795, is a character who is different from the rest of his peers. If not for his talent, Mazen is quite well-known for his personality.
Umaru Komul - Ultimate Composer
Created by Shyjoker, Umaru Komul is the Ultimate Composer. While quite tall himself and rather handsome, Umaru is a sweet individual who wants nothing more than to stay upbeat and make sure nobody is having any issue. Quite eccentric as well.
Kenichi 'Keni' Sato - Ultimate Clinical Research Participant
Created by Abitat Eco, Keni is the Ultimate Clinical Research Participant. As a child who is younger than most of his peers, Keni seems to be the light in the darkness. He is always seen wearing a smile and acting polite, very well-mannered towards everyone around him.
- Adorably Precocious Child: Keni seems to speak very politely and even asked for permission to call Mayari "Big Sis".
- Cheerful Child: Keni speaks politely and happily. He seems to think of the situation as a game so far.
- Moe: Keni is seen as the cutest here.
- The Cutie: Upon introduction, Keni is definitely this. He even has a cute stuffed animal he keeps with him!
Ray Oyama - Ultimate Ice Cream Maker
Ray Oyama is a character created by Orlando Butler. He seems to be somebody who likes to act affluent and speak fluently, acting as if he were rich and someone of high value. He does seem to rather much pride on his own skills as well.
Non-Binary
Michi Uyeno - Ultimate Cartoonist
The Ultimate Cartoonist, Michi Uyeno was created by Shirasaur. They do seem to have no censor on their words, but they are relatively chill and easygoing. They may get aggressive at times, but they are nothing short of fun.
