From far away, I want to deliver it to you.
"Photon Maiden, showing you the unknown"
A rising DJ unit working under a talent agency, with Call of Artemis member Shano Himegami as their producer. Their members consist of Saki as DJ and vocals and Ibuki, Towa, and Noa as dance and vocals. Their genres are techno, trance, future house and dance music.
    General
  • Bilingual Bonus: Most of their songs have some English lines thrown in.
  • Cosmic Motifs: The group's theme is centered around motifs such as space travel, stars, alien life and robots.
  • Dance Battler: The unit places considerably more emphasis on choreography than the others, with the exception of Merm4id, as three of its four members are officially classed as performers.
  • Four-Temperament Ensemble:
    • Quiet and insightful Saki is Phlegmatic.
    • Mature leader Ibuki is Choleric.
    • Cheerful Genki Girl Towa is Sanguine.
    • Smart and snarky (but only towards Towa) Noa is Melancholic.
  • Genre Roulette: Starting from their first album in 2022, they've started to branch out into genres other than their trademark EDM. For eaxmple, G.A.M.E, which is a funk song, and Collector, which sounds like something more suited to an idol unit. The in-universe explanation for this is that they are trying to find their own color.
  • Idol Singer: Subverted. They're a DJ unit, but they are managed and promoted somewhat similarly to that of an idol group.

    Saki Izumo

Saki Izumo

"I want to show everyone the world through my eyes."
Voiced by: Risa Tsumugi (Japanese), Deneen Melody (English)
"Scenes coloring before me
Sounds shining as I observe the world"

Saki is a talented girl who excels in both study and sports. Having "synesthesia", she can see color in music. A DJ concert she happened to attend made her want to become a DJ herself. She is a person of few words, but shows outstanding performance on the stage.
  • Aura Vision: A non-supernatural version. She has synesthesia, meaning sounds appear visually as color to her, and she often describes it in a similar way to auras. The first main story for the group in the game involves everyone trying to figure out why Saki is seeing "bad colors" in the audience rather than colors that suggest the audience is enjoying themselves.
  • The Baby of the Bunch: She's a year younger than the other members of Photon Maiden.
  • Curtains Match the Window: She has light gray, almost white eyes and milk white hair.
  • Deathbringer the Adorable: Maho questions her on her Stage Name, DJ Dragon, noting that the image she gives off is anything but. She explains that she chose it simply because she likes dragonfruit.
  • Kindhearted Cat Lover: She has a black-and-white cat named Schrödinger.
  • The Quiet One: She's a girl of few words and has a quiet, almost whispery speaking voice.
  • Stage Name: She writes and submits music to the school's DJ competition under the name "DJ Dragon".
  • Stalker without a Crush: After overhearing Maho praising her music but noting something was missing about it, she takes to following the former around school for much of the day to find out what it is.
  • Sugar-and-Ice Personality: She tends to give the impression of being aloof and distant, but upon getting to know her she's incredibly sweet.
  • Wall Pin of Love: Does this to Maho while acting out part of a book she read in her "Nightlight of a star" card.

    Ibuki Nijima

"Gotta stay grinding to shape up your body and soul!"
Voiced by: Ami Maeshima (Japanese, 2019-2022), Kanon Nanaki (Japanese, 2022 onwards), Heather Gonzalez (English)
"Show up! OK, one more rep!
Let’s make it with effort and hard work!""

Ibuki loves to move her body and has participated in many sports since childhood. In junior high, she became hooked on the joy of dancing and singing and started attending a show production school. Never forgetting to care for others, she is leader in both title and the fact that she always supports her unit.
  • The Leader: She is the leader of Photon Maiden, and even becomes their producer starting from their second main story following Shano's return to Call of Artemis.
  • Passionate Sports Girl: She's the main dancer for Photon Maiden, is the manager of the school track and field team, and is commonly seen at the gym with Yuka and Dalia.

    Towa Hanamaki

Towa Hanamaki

"Ohh, I'm so nervous... But I'm gonna give it my all!"
Voiced by: Haruki Iwata (Japanese), Brittany Lauda (English)
"Non-stop natural cuteness!
A stage splashing with light☆"

Towa actively attends the local festivals due to her family's participation in the local youth organization. Once, a photo of her at a local event went viral on social media. As a huge idol enthusiast, she still goes to idol concerts and tries to learn from their performances. Despite her hardworking and energetic nature, she easily gets nervous when performing onstage.
  • Afraid of Needles: She's terrified of needles and shots, enough that Ibuki has to physically drag her to the nurse's office for her booster.
  • Ascended Fangirl: In a sense. She's a big fan of idols, and auditioned for Photon Maiden as a way to become like them.
  • Genki Girl: She's very gung-ho and cheery.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: She loves crepes so much that in one event in the "Sulking Maiden and Caring Angel" event she gets sick from eating too many crepes to eat away her sorrows.

    Noa Fukushima

Noa Fukushima

"Cute is everything. Nothing beats it."
Voiced by: Hinata Sato (Japanese), Michelle Marie (English)
"A universe of unconscious memories
Engraving the prologue to "cute""

Noa became interested in theater plays through her love of literature, and decided to become a performer when she was praised at a theater workshop. Very curious and full of knowledge, she becomes talkative when it comes to things she's interested in. She loves cute things and is strongly obsessed with cats.
  • Actor Allusion: On the seventh episode of All Mix, Noa recites a quote from Goethe ("Whosoever strives unceasingly upward can be saved") during an executive meeting. Said quote has been recited by Junna Hoshimi from Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight, who is also voiced by Sato Hinata. Bonus point for also being the receiving end of the very same respond ("It is not your own word") afterward in both series.
  • Ambiguously Gay: Noa's extreme love for cute things extends to cute girls, and is seen blushing a lot around other girls in the cast who she considers especially cute. In one episode of Petit Mix, she is seen using various methods to gather all the members of Lyrical Lily for a party at her house, and she goes on a date to the arcade with Shinobu in the Hallow DJs!, Halloween Live event.
  • Bookworm: She loves literature and occasionally quotes from books or poems.
  • Cuteness Proximity: She goes completely nuts for anything cute, whether it be cats, stuffed animals, or Saki and Muni.
  • Jerkass to One: She tends to be particularly harsh on Towa, even admitting at one point that she found her annoying and airheaded. However, after a few game events where they spend more time together, they settle on being Vitriolic Best Buds.
