Swamp-Inhabiting Main Characters

    Althor Grimleaf
Voiced by: Moby White
  • Magic Wand: Of sorts. He has several staves that each use a different spell. And the spells are carved/painted on the wands and staves since he otherwise cannot use magic.
  • Walking Shirtless Scene: He rarely wears a complete shirt. Winter and embarrassment from dealing with the Female Gaze: are among the only things that can change this.

    Tirtha Camphorspring
  • Blessed with Suck: She is a consecrated. That means that she gets attention from men and women, whether she wants it or not.
  • Indifferent Beauty: Throughout the works, she does not care whether she is attractive, nor for the attention she receives because of her appearance.
  • Making a Splash: Her preferred magic is water.
  • The Pollyanna: Despite every bad thing that has ever happened to her, she considers herself lucky, not cursed. She remains happy and cheerful no matter what.

    Rurik Larkspurshade
  • Brooding Boy, Gentle Girl Played with. He is the brooding boy to Tirtha's gentle girl (during their childhood). However, they are never a couple.
  • Casting a Shadow: He uses chthonic magic.
  • Dark And Troubled Past: He has one because he broke the incredibly strict rules of conduct swamp elves enforce upon children. He was permanently shaped by the punishment.
  • Screw the Rules, I'm Doing What's Right! He had that attitude when he was eight years old. And because of that he became Sour Outside Sad Inside: .
  • Strict Parents Make Sneaky Kids: He, Tirtha and Kellena are quite affectionate despite the puritanical values they had been raised with and Tirtha eventually comes to the conclusion that she is never going to be punished, even should she and Rurik be caught sitting to close (or anything else seen as punishable) because she is too important to their village. Rurik just stops caring. But, they had been affectionate in more subtle, sneaky ways.
  • Took A Level In Cynicism: After his childhood, he became quite bitter.

    Izar Snowstar

    Kellena Castorflame

    Vipin Skyleaf
  • The Unfavorite: He was this with his parents. He was not lucky enough to be born with the druidic talents that his brother had.

The gods

    Pramod, god of deception
Voiced by: Vince Fallow
  • The Chessmaster: During his appearance, he is successfully convincing the other gods to intervene and influence the mortals he has taken an interest in.
