    Mountain Mane, the Wandering Justice
Mountain Mane (first introduced here) is a bounty hunter and First Age hero who ended up becoming something far greater than he or his friends could have imagined.

    Pyro I
The first Pyro, and a hero of legend among dragons.
  • 11th-Hour Ranger: Cinder II awakens his half of Valefor's soul, allowing him to join the final battle with the Dark Dragon in time to tilt the scales in the heroes' favor.
  • Big Brother Instinct: He was rather protective of dragons younger than himself.
  • Breath Weapon: In addition to the standard fire breath most dragons have, Pyro I also learned the magic to convert his breath into a multitude of useful varieties, the first being ice. He even learned to breath water and bubbles (the former mostly used for solving certain puzzles and the latter for capturing small creatures without hurting them).
  • Elemental Powers: Dishing Out Dirt, An Ice Person, Making A Splash, Playing With Fire and Shock and Awe were all among the different types of breath he learned.
  • Expy: Of Spyro the Dragon, specifically the Classic version.
  • Face Death with Dignity: When awakened inside of his and Valefor's joint soul, he tells Cinder II to go help destroy Valefor, even though that will also result in Pyro I dying alongside him. Pyro I doesn't care and takes it with his usual energetic heroism, even planning to reincarnate once again.
  • Flying Firepower: Though it took him a few years to master true flight.
  • Horn Attack: Ramming people with his horns was one of his first attacks.
  • Kid Hero: He was ten years old at the time of his first major adventure against Awful Orc.
  • Mayfly–December Romance: His first serious relationship was with a female faun when he was eleven, but he ended up outliving her by a wide margin.
  • Nigh-Invulnerability: By age eleven, he figured out how to augment his durability to this level for a few seconds at a time, but it was fairly tiring at first.
  • Not Quite Flight: He couldn't quite fly in his first few years as an adventurer, but he had mastered gliding before adding a "hover" move at the end of his glide in time for his first fight with Snipto and then added a pre-glide "double-jump" to his list before finally reaching true flight by age thirteen.
  • Playing with Fire: In addition to flame breath being his first breath power, he also learned how to temporarily super-charge his flame breath, but it took a lot out of him at first.
  • Reincarnation: It turns out he chose to reincarnate in the Third Age...unfortunately, said reincarnation would become Valefor. After Valefor is destroyed once and for all, he states he wants to reincarnate once more, and be a good guy again this time
  • So Proud of You: He tells Cinder II he's proud of her as he sends her back to the real world so he and his friends can finish off Valefor's half of their soul.
  • Stuff Blowing Up: Fireballs created by his superflame end in small explosions.
  • Stronger with Age: Part and parcel with being a dragon.
  • Super Drowning Skills: Only in his first adventure before he learned to swim. After that, it was completely averted.
  • Super Not-Drowning Skills: Once he learned to swim underwater, he could actually remain underwater for prolonged periods, but needed to super-charge his flame breath to use it underwater.
  • Taking You with Me: When his half of their soul is awakened inside of Valefor, he battles Valefor's half alongside his friends souls, distracting him long enough for the heroes to obliterate his body and let Pyro I destroy his half of their soul. This results in Pyro I's second death alongside Valefor, but he's perfectly fine with it and plans to reincarnate again.

    Rhianca

  • Expy: Of Bianca from Spyro the Dragon.
  • Rabbit Magician: Like her inspiration, she was an apprentice of the Mystic Queen before defecting to Pyro's side and becoming an apprentice to the leader of the Magic Crafters.
  • Relationship Upgrade: She became Searcher's girlfriend after defeating the Mystic Queen.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Rhianca is noted to have improved greatly improved in the six months she was under the tutelage of the leader of the Magic Crafters.

    Searcher I

    Sparks I
Pyro I's loyal dragonfly companion, the first of his line.
  • Adaptational Badass: Downplayed, but, unlike the actual Sparx, Sparks had a Healing Factor for maintaining his health and strength rather than eating butterflies.
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Only in the sense that, unlike the actual Sparx, he left butterflies alone unless they attacked him first and, even then, he didn't eat them, which would have been considered cannibalism to a fellow insect. Rather, he ate most of the same foods that the dragons did.
  • Back Up From Other World: His soul is among Pyro I's friends to enter his and Valefor's joint soul and help destroy the Dark Dragon once and for all.
  • Bag of Holding: He had a magic bag that could carry everything he and Pyro collected that could be useful for their adventures.
  • Barrier Warrior: His principle power was generating a force field that allowed him to withstand several blows from much larger and stronger enemies (as well as protect Pyro from certain spells like the one Awful Orc used to turn most of the adult dragons into crystal statues)
  • Expy: Of the original Sparx the Dragonfly.
  • Healing Factor: Could use this to quickly regain health and energy after a particularly exhausting battle.
  • Hypercompetent Sidekick: While Pyro did the vast majority of the actual fighting, he still assisted the dragon hero in many other ways, such as reaching areas Pyro was too large to fit in, detecting items for their quests, protecting Pyro from the more powerful attacks in his "Kid Hero" days or carrying surprisingly large objects.
  • One-Man Army: Against normal sized insects and arachnids, he could be quite a formidable fighter.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: Not powerful enough to fight enemies larger than normal insects and arachnids head-on, but he WAS strong enough to comfortably lift and carry objects many times larger and heavier than himself.
  • Shock and Awe: His principle offensive power. While not strong enough to do more than mildly annoy the larger enemies Pyro typically fought, Spark's electrical blasts could make very quick work of normal sized insects and arachnids.
