Kayden Hartley

Companion Cube: Rarely, if ever, seen without at least one plushie.
Curiosity Killed the Cast: Most of Kayden's problems could have been avoided if he knew when to leave things alone.
Messy Hair: Has mid-length black curls that constantly look like he's just got out of bed.
Nightmare Fetishist: Fascinated by the trolls' culture to the point he tried to join the Circus of Fear Corrupt Church, sews plushies based off his dead friends, cheerfully discusses torture methods as small talk...
Speech Impediment: Has a stutter.
Stepford Smiler: Kayden's "cheerfully oblivious" act is, by his own admission, mostly false, but is nonetheless more convincing than most examples of the trope.

Tsukey Morney

Cruel and Unusual Death: Garrotted with her own stocking.
The Ophelia: Invoked. She looks the part and knows it but is far more aware of her surroundings than you would expect.
Shout-Out: Her appearance and speech mannerisms are heavily inspired by Emilie Autumn.
Will Not Be a Victim: Her advice to Kayden in the trap is simply "don't let them win".

Sian Mackenzie

The Alcoholic: Though she prefers to think of herself as a Hard-Drinking Party Girl, but its clear that Sian does have a problem, and either hasn't realized it or doesn't want to admit it.
Brass Balls: Whilst the wisdom of it is... debatable, Sian does seem to have a knack for walking calmly into situations that other people would be too scared to even consider.
Promotion to Parent: Became the surrogate mother to a then 11 year old Kayden in their shared backstory.
Scars Are Forever: Has more than a few, though when asked how she got them she just shrugs and says she doesn't really remember.

Sofya le Fay

Broken Ace: Rich, attractive, intelligent and popular with little to no self-esteem.
Green-Eyed Monster: Gets very jealous of other people flirting with 'her' Sian.
I Know Mortal Kombat: Seems to teach herself things from anime.
The Voiceless: Functionally mute; communicates through ASL.

Elijah 'Eli' Hartman

Ambiguous Gender: Referred to with they/them pronouns.
Fun Personified: Seemingly incapable of being serious even when they want to be.
Rebellious Spirit: Seems to hate being told what to do and even most basic social norms on general principle. Deconstructed, to an extent, in that this tends to be really bad for them.

Casca Yavali

The Gadfly: Says and does things simply to test others' reactions.
May–December Romance: Downplayed, but she's a 26 year old whose in love with the 19 year old Eli.
Nightmare Fetishist: Cheerfully fascinated with death.
Shameless Fanservice Girl: Tends to walk around naked for no real reason (except possibly making the asexual Kayden uncomfortable).
Shoutout: Both of her names, "Casca" being taken from Berserk and "Yavali" from Hivefled's Vanate.

Crioph Shrape

Anti-Magic: Is resistant to most forms of psionic abilities.
Undignified Death: Choked on the Condesce's bulge. Doesn't seem too bothered by it being how she died, however.

Alessa Cascan

Obfuscating Insanity: Is possibly faking her amnesia.
Good Bad Girl: Happily describes herself as a slut and is portrayed positively, but doesn't seem to have the same basic "sex is inherently a good thing as long as you don't hurt anyone" approach to Sian, being more "sex is fun and I do what I want."

Nahoko Allith

Improbable Age: In her late 20s or early 30s in a group consisting mostly of 18 year olds.
Motor Mouth: Has a tendency to ramble on long past the point other people stop listening.

Loreza Tinula

Anti-Villain: For all the shitty things she's done, she's still mostly just a dumb kid in over her head.
Huge Schoolgirl: A 19 year old girl whose over 8 feet tall. Justified by being a purpleblooded troll.
