The eponymous girl with amnesia and Mari Satou's lover.

  • Amnesiac Lover: Begins the story with her having lost the memories of the past two years of her life, including meeting, falling in love with, and getting together with Mari. That doesn't stop her from being completely in love with her girlfriend.
  • Book Dumb: Arisa received subpar to failing grades throughout high school, and she at one point claims the uselessness of her studies (with her usual blind enthusiasm, to boot). Early in their relationship, before they became a couple, Mari said she would do whatever Arisa wanted with her if she studied hard, and for the first time in her life, Arisa was motivated to study, and it paid off when she got a 90 on her next test.
  • Determinator: Back when they first met, Arisa would show up to Mari's workplace on a practically daily basis to talk to her unabashedly to show her affection. Even when Mari seemed to reject her advances, Arisa continued her pursuit until Mari took her into her apartment one night to sleep over after Arisa missed her train home, leading to the lovely relationship they have today.
  • Easy Amnesia: Her amnesia is the result of being so overjoyed at being proposed to by Mari that she basically did a factory reset.
  • Faint in Shock: Arisa is prone to suddenly collapsing when she gets too happy, leading Mari to realize what caused her amnesia.
  • Genki Girl: Arisa is hyperactive and upbeat most of the time. A lot of her thoughts come out of her mouth before they go through her head, leading to her being extremely brazen and forthcoming as well as incapable of knowing when to keep her mouth shut.
  • Heroic BSoD: Her response to being proposed to by Mari is to blankly take the ring, stagger out of her part time job, and vanish for three days until she turns up in the hospital with partial amnesia, and all of it done out of sheer joy.
  • Love at First Sight: Fell for Mari right away when she met her at a fast food restaurant. At first she thought Mari was a man, but later saw that she had breasts, but it didn't sway her infatuation for a second.
  • Loveable Sex Maniac: Arisa constantly thinks of having sex with Mari and enjoys getting into lewd situations with her, but due to her amnesia regressing her personality to around the time when they first met, she's far too shy to make any moves. Mari informs her that prior to her amnesia, Arisa was "on top" and always was the one to come onto her.

     Mari Satou

Arisa's girlfriend. Tries to cope with Arisa's memory loss by being supportive and loving through it all.

  • Bifauxnen: She used to have longer hair in high school, but had since cut it short. Because of this, Arisa and an elderly neighbor initially confuse her for a man.
  • Even the Girls Want Her: Mari used to attend an all-girls school, where her aloof personality made her extremely popular with the other girls. One girl at a reunion party recalls the time she got rejected by Mari on Valentine's Day which Mari has no recollection of.
  • Loony Friends Improve Your Personality: Her relationship with the insanely cheerful Arisa helps Mari break out of her shell.
  • Only Sane Woman: Serves as this as a means of dealing with her lover's sudden amnesia.
  • Not So Stoic: When she's around Arisa, her true feelings always come out.
  • She Cleans Up Nicely: Arisa gets rather excited upon seeing her in a dark pantsuit.
  • Shrinking Violet: She often feels that she doesn't deserve a girlfriend like Arisa, to which Arisa vehemently disagrees with her frequent declarations of love and attraction.
  • Tomboy with a Girly Streak: Downplayed. She looks attractively masculine, and works in a field that's traditionally associated with men (welding). However, she tends to have confidence issues, and before Arisa's amnesia, she's the bottom in their relationship.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Mari is deathly afraid of insects, to the point where she avoided returning to her own apartment because of the cockroaches that her neighbor's trash was attracting. Arisa's ability to handle bugs with ease does draw the couple closer.
