Main Characters

    Izu / Izuku Midoriya

Izu / Izuku Midoriya

A young Quirkless boy who was in the care of the League of Villains and Shie Hassaikai since he was a toddler. Tomura Shigaraki treated him like a pet while Overhaul used him like a lab rat for his Quirk-destroy bullets. Izu was rescued in the first chapter of the story. His primary rescuer is Mirio Togata, who is also known as "Lemillion", and is under the latter's care. He and Mirio have developed a strong brotherly relationship with each other.
  • Affectionate Nickname: His nickname was given to him by the villains. But it's painfully subverted as they don't have any real affections for Izu, as they treat him like a pet than a human child. However, it's played straight with the heroes as they show that they truly care about Izu by showing him real love and kindness. Something that the boy needs.
  • Age Lift: Izu is a young child here. While in canon, he's a teenager.
  • The Baby of the Bunch: The youngest character in the story and U.A. High.
  • Birthday Buddies: With Mirio. Though, Mirio wants it to be more about Izu than him since Izu had never celebrated his birthday since he was kidnapped.
  • Cheerful Child: He's starting to become one thanks to all the love and kindness everyone from U.A. has been showing him since his rescue.
  • Heal the Cutie: The entire story shows Izu trying to heal from his emotional and mental scars from his time with the villains.
  • Human Pet: To Shigaraki. Their interactions make it painfully clear that Shigaraki doesn't care for him as an actual person.
  • Unwitting Test Subject: To both Shigaraki and Overhaul for their respective experiments.

    Mirio Togata — Lemillion

Mirio Togata — Lemillion

The top student of U.A. High who's a Third Year student and a member of the Big Three of U.A.. He's the successor of All Might, chosen by the former's mentor, Sir Nighteye. He chooses the hero "Lemillion" as he knows that he can't always save everyone. Mirio is the first person that met Izu during the first chapter and is the very first person that ever shows Izu real kindness and love. He became Izu's caretaker due to the former's fear of the latter facing abuse again in the foster system. Both Mirio and Izu form a brotherly bond.
  • The Ace: Like in canon, Mirio is the top student at U.A. High. That's why he was chosen to be the next holder of One For All.
  • Big Brother Instinct: Will come to Izu's aid whenever Izu becomes distressed.
  • Birthday Buddies: With Izu. However, Mirio is looking more forward to celebrating Izu's birthday since the latter never did when he was the villains.
  • Childhood Friends: With Tamaki. Mirio has known him since they were in grade school.
  • Cool Big Bro: He certainly acts like one to Izu. Knowing full-well that the boy needs someone to trust and rely on after years of abuse.
  • Nice Guy: One of the nicest character in the entire story.

Thankfully subverted. It's later revealed that he went to the League of Villains and begged All For One to return his son to him.
  • Disappeared Dad: It's unknown where he's at.
  • Papa Wolf: Was willing to go back to the League of Villains in exchange for his son returning to him.
  • Playing with Fire: He still has the fire breath Quirk from canon.

  • Abusive Parents: While Shigaraki isn't even Izu's adoptive father, the former has made the latter live in fear if he (Izu) ever tries to disobey him (Shigaraki). It's later revealed in Chapter 18, Izu was originally going to become his ward and his future successor, but he decided to make the boy his pet instead.
