Smash Remix has to use sequenced music due to the Nintendo 64's relatively primitive sound capabilities, so it is unable to directly import songs unlike most Smash Game Mods.
- Game Boy Medley, which plays on the Game Boy Land stage: a five-and-a-half-minute love letter to the Game Boy. It almost makes you want to stall out the match to hear the whole thing. In order:
- "Birabuto Kingdom" (Super Mario Land)
- "Showdown at the Tower" (Donkey Kong '94)
- "Tal Tal Heights" (The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening)
- "Type A" (Tetris)
- "Battle! Champion" (Pokémon Red and Blue)
- "Staff Credits" (Kirby's Dream Land)
- "Ending" (Metroid II: Return of Samus)
- "Athletic Theme" (Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins)
- "Main Theme" (Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3)
- All-Star Rest Area is a very soothing medley of the first three Smash games' main themes.
- The remixes of Open Your Heart from Sonic Adventure and Live and Learn from Sonic Adventure 2 somehow, despite the lack of vocals for what were originally rock songs, manage to properly capture the musical goodness that has come to be expected from Sega's spiky blue mascot. It's doubly awesome when you encounter them in 1P Remix - specifically, they show up during Super Sonic's stint as a miniboss.
- The 1.5.0 trailer remixes "So Happy Together" in the game's style, paying tribute to the original commercial, to play over a montage of all the major character reveals up to that point. The effect is a touching retrospective on how far the game has come.
