"Sing your life's anthem as if it's in full bloom."
A franchise about girl rock bands should definitely have a list of boppin' music.

Poppin' Party

  • "Teardrops" has a catchy powerful rocking punk-like atmosphere, especially the guitar riff near the end.
  • "Light Delight" is a beautiful and heart-rending song thanks to the lyrics and Kasumi's powerful voice.
  • "Initial" is catchy, full of energy, and gives you the feeling of performing on stage. The song never has a dull moment.
  • "Returns" sounds almost nostalgic, and you can hear the life and emotions in Kasumi's voice and the band's performance.
  • "Saikou (Saa Ikou!)", the opening theme of Future Card Buddyfight ACE, makes you want to go out and take on the world.
  • "Tokimeki Experience! truly captures the essence of Poppin' Party and is one of their most notable songs.

Afterglow

  • "Scarlet Sky" is an uplifting song about The Power of Friendship.
  • "That Is How I Roll!", possibly a song about Ran's rebellion against her father and unwillingness to get into flower arrangement just so she can inherit a flower arrangement school, choosing instead to play hard rock music.
  • Their cover of "Asu no Yozora Shoukaihan" is melt-your-face-off rock from the moment the first riff hits.
  • "Y.O.L.O!!!!!" is one of those songs that is just near-impossible to not sing along to if you know the words.
  • "Hey-Day Capriccio" is probably the song that best showcases the band's technical skill, with its complex rhythms, fast solos and somehow still catchy melodies.
  • Their cover of L'Arc~en~Ciel's live-staple "READY STEADY GO!" manages to catch the same energy as any of L'Arc's live performances of it, and then takes it up a notch by having two different guitars playing, rather than having the same guitar play two different parts.
  • Ironically enough, despite being largely considered a punk-rock band, their cover of "Don't Say 'Lazy'" is actually slower but more complex than the original. Strangely enough, despite having Hikasa Yoko (who voiced Akiyama Mio and sang the original version of the song in K-On!) voicing Tomoe, she doesn't even sing backing vocals on the Afterglow version.
  • "Tsunagu Soramoyou". is about the bright azure sky bonded by their lifelong friendship.
  • "COMIC PANIC!!!" is fun, energetic, catchy, and has fun parts from all the girls in Afterglow!

Pastel*Palettes

  • "Shuwarin☆Drea~min" is cute and catchy, perfect for an idol group.
  • Their cover of "secret base" moves players just as much as the original does, and is one of the group's more mellow songs, perfect for playing if your ears need a breather from the game's more energetic songs.
  • Their solid cover of "MOON PRIDE" is a testimony that the group can do more than saccharine pop.
  • Their cover of "DISCOTHEQUE" has a more upbeat and disco-like feeling compared to their other songs, and is very fun and catchy.
  • "Mou Ichido Luminous" is one of the best, if not the best, songs Pastel Palettes has to date. The music perfectly captures the Idol-like tone and aesthetics.
  • "Tenka Toitsu! A to Z" is a catchy, high energy song about uniting the people of the world through the power of determination and bushido. Plus all the other Pastel*Palette members sing together and have a solo at some point in the song.
  • "Zettai Sengen ~Recital~" is catchy and immersive. It's the kind of song that'd sound AMAZING live.
  • "Wakuwaku meets Trip" is upbeat, catchy and funky; you will have to move to the beat.

Roselia

  • "BLACK SHOUT" is an intense, high energy rock piece backed by Yukina's powerful vocals - a combination which would become Roselia's trademark sound. Musically, the song is closer to Symphonic Metal than Hard Rock, with its intro containing one of the more prominent uses of the harpsichord in modern music.
  • "Nesshoku Starmine" is notable for featuring the rest of Roselia as backing vocals throughout the whole song. Their higher range contrasts well with Yukina's lower range, giving the song an ethereal feel.
  • "-HEROIC ADVENT-", the ending theme of Cardfight! Vanguard G: Z, is a song about never giving up while your friends support you, delivered in Roselia's usual high energy, high intensity fashion.
  • "Neo-Aspect", from the group's first album Anfang, is a lot more somber in tone than most of Roselia's discography until it hits the chorus, which then delivers the group's trademark intensity.
  • "Hidamari Rhodonite", while not quite up to Roselia's high-intensity standard, is awesome simply because fans now pair it with Yurika Endo's graduation and the event it was featured in on the mobile game. The fact that it's one of the only songs on the album, where both the bass, keyboard and guitar play a solo certainly makes it stand out even more.
  • "LOUDER", Roselia's first single and the closing track on "Anfang", is the kind of song that would be perfect both as an opening track AND as closing track on an album. Whether it's the huge guitar riffs, the groovy bass lines or Yukina's vocal performance, this song just has it all.
  • Their cover of "Guren no Yumiya" — yes, that "Guren no Yumiya" — does a great job of fitting with Yukina's vocals. As befitting of its intensity, it's also one of the most challenging songs in the game to play.
  • "FIRE BIRD" can be best described as epic. The vocals, the melody, the instruments, everything. It also features one of the highest tones Aiba Aina made in her entire career.

Hello, Happy World

  • Their cover of Blood Blockade Battlefront's "Sugar Song to Bitter Step" is given a more upbeat feel by Kokoro's vocals.
  • HHW's cover of LIP×LIP's "Romeo" features a rare vocal performance from Kaoru, whose deeper, more mature voice is a perfect fit for the song (especially considering the subject matter) and is a perfect match for Kokoro's high-pitched energy. It's no surprise that it's near-universally considered one of the greatest songs in the game!
  • "Shanghai Honey" has Kokoro, Kaoru and Misaki rapping about picking up girls on the beach — it's just as weird and fun as any of their covers, and really fun to play in the mobile game.
  • "Goka! Gokai!? Phantom Thief!" is fun, jazzy, and way too catchy.
  • Their cover of "Silhouette" gives it a more optimistic sound, thanks to Kokoro's vocals.
  • "Kimi Ga Inakucha!" is a cheerful song filled with happiness. It's hard not to smile after listening to this song.

Morfonica

  • Daylight is a beautiful, serene violin rock track that perfectly displays Mashiro's vocals.
  • Their cover of Shinkai Shoujo manages to make the song even more emotional than the original.
  • Fly with the Night is a breathtaking song, and Mashiro's vocal performance, particularly in the chorus, is downright beautiful. With lyrics about sticking together despite change happening around you, it's a perfect fit for Morfonica's second band story.
