Season 1

  • The apartment building manager trying to hassle Ms. Elizalde (Gus' mother). Then Gus shows up and has a little discussion with him outside:
Gus: If I hear you talked to her like that again, your body is gonna be found in those recycling bins you love so much.
  • Abe getting to show off his sword skills by beheading first Emma and then later Ansel.
  • The episode "Services Rendered" has Abe vs Eichhorst. The viewer goes into the scene thinking Abe's going to win... only for him to be horribly outclassed by Eichhorst, who very nearly turns him until he gets shot in the leg by Eph.
    • In the same episode, the viewer is treat to another Big Damn Heroes moment when Neeva, the Luss children, and Neeva's daughter Sebastiane are saved from a transformed Joan by Vaun (the head enforcer for the Ancients) via head-shot with a silver stake shot out by a modified nail-gun. While the scene is made slightly uncomfortable by said vampire shooting Sebastiane (who was possibly infected by that point) it was still pretty cool.
  • In the beginning of "Occultation", there's Setrakian calmly beheading about half a dozen Strigoi in the most casual manner possible, while everyone else stares in awe and horror.
  • Dutch punching Eldritch Palmer in the face. Very cathartic - and then followed up by Fitzwilliams letting them both go instead of killing them because he knows Palmer is (to quote a review) "one fry short of a happy meal".
  • Gus running into a vamped Mr. Farrel, the Jerkass apartment manager who messed with his mama. And liberating him of his head with a fire-axe.
Gus: You come for the rent again, puto?
    Ker-slice!
  • Fet sending The Master running like a bitch with his UV flash-bang.
  • Dutch figuring out how to hack into the Emergency Broadcast System in order to transmit a warning about the vampires.
  • The assault on the Master's lair in Bolivar's theatre, culminating in Abraham, Eph, and Zach smashing the blacked out windows to let in the sunlight to weaken him. And then he gets a villainous one by escaping in broad daylight.
    • Fet and Dutch holding off Eichhorst, with Dutch shooting him about half a dozen times, and Fet shooting him with a nail gun, in the face.
Dutch: *Shoots Eichhorst in the shoulder as he's attacking Fet*
Eichhorst: Miss Valdez! I think I'll eat you first.
    Dutch: You can try, asshole!
    • Earlier, Fet being clever enough to open up a manhole cover into the sewer tunnel the strigoi are using to get into the theatre, using the sunlight to block it and prevent vampire reinforcements from arriving. And later, blowing a group of them up with dynamite.
    • Vaun effortlessly outmaneuvering Gus every time he attacks.
  • Mr. Fitzwilliam standing up to Eldritch and telling him that he's gone too far. Palmer looks visibly shaken after Fitzwilliam quits and leaves.

Season 2

  • The premiere reveals that while the heroes failed to kill the Master, they did succeed in seriously wounding him. He states to Eichhorst that his body is actually dying, and he needs a new one.
  • When Setrakian is brought before the New World Ancients, Vaun states that they're trying to decide if they shouldn't just eat him. His response impresses them enough that they decide to spare him.
"I vowed to hunt the Master until the day I die. If today is that day, so be it!"
  • The running fight against the vampire horde in the storage locker.
  • An understated one where Setrakian confronts Eldritch at the opening of his new centre(really a staging ground to gain peoples blood type for the Strigoi) as Palmer attempts to belittle Setrakian. It's clear the whole time who has the high ground.
Palmer: Don't tell me you still cling to your belief in the Supreme Being?
Setrakian: You should fear his wrath.
Palmer: Your being doesn't exist! I realized that when I was ten years old and PRAYED for him to heal me. He never answered!
Setrakian: Yes he did. The answer was "No."
    • A pair of small ones just after, where Setrakian shocks Eldritch by revealing that he scalded the Master with the sun and made him flee, which leaves Palmer speechless. When he sends a few of his goons to grab him, Fet sets off a well placed explosive for shock and awe, allowing his mentor to escape(after he clotheslines the security guard chasing after him.)
  • Vaun telling Gus to leave him and save himself as Palmer is burning him and the other vamps to death.
  • Vaun and Gus' training, up to and including the fact that Vaun gave Gus a gun with only two bullets to force him to fight the vampire hand to hand. Gus does... and rips the damn thing's stinger out through its throat.
  • Quinlan single-handedly annihilating an entire group of Feelers in "The Born".
  • Justine rallying the people of Red Hook to fight back against the Strigoi invasion.
  • Quinlan's Rousing Speech to Gus' crew in "Night Train".

Season 3

  • A wounded, but enraged Quinlan decapitating the Master in 3x03.
  • Fet and his team silver-bombing the strigoi nest in 3x06.
  • Dutch slicing off Eichhorst's hand in 3x06.
  • Quinlan slicing and shooting his way through the horde of hostile strigoi in 3x08.
  • Palmer feigning sickness before whipping out a shotgun and blowing Eichhorst away in 3x09.
  • The season finale features the team setting a trap for the Master. And while there's a snag in the form of the Master possessing Palmer and springing a trap of his own, once Dutch gets the signal jammer working, they're able to turn the tables on him. He's forced to flee... and runs right into Quinlan, who proceeds to bitch slap him into submission, allowing them to force the Master into the coffin they'd built to trap him. Pity the blast from his nuke going off freed him.

Season 4

  • Dutch rescuing Setrakian from The Partnership and injuring Eichhorst by setting him on fire.
  • Eichhorst meeting the end he was so long overdue for, courtesy of Abraham poisoning him with an overdose of blood thinner like the vermin he is.
Abraham: Like rats, you cannot vomit the blood thinner. An anatomical curiosity, but very significant too, don't you think? You are vermin. Look at me. I want your Master to see this. Can you hear me? I have something to say to you. You are the hunger, the strain that feeds on us since time immemorial. But make no mistake, you're still a parasite, and we will flush you out and burn you. It will not be me, it will not be now, but it will happen, no matter how long it takes. In another face, another eyes, you will see me as you die. And as for you, Herr Eichhorst, my name is Abraham Setrakian. And you should know, I am not a number anymore! (In Hebrew) My sword sings of silver!
    • During that speech, we get a nice cutaway to the Master, one of the most ancient and powerful beings on the planet, who's directly responsible for most of the events of the series and indirectly for even more atrocities throughout history. He looks completely terrified.
  • Quinlan and the Master's showdown in the series finale. It's a brutal No-Holds-Barred Beatdown that ends with Quinlan ripping the Master's stinger out through his throat and stating "I've won" right before the Master stomps his head in.
    • Zach, of all people, bringing the Master's end. First, shooting him rather than his father, and then setting off the nuke to destroy him for good.
