Awesome / Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare

  • Going on a massive Vanquish Streak can be this. Just the fact that knowing that you've probably vaporized most of their team twice over and nearly everyone on the other team is your nemesis and is out for your blood, but they can't get you.
    • Inversely, shutting down someone's Vanquish Streak can also be this. Bonus points if they were your nemesis at the time.
  • EVERY SINGLE ONE of the final stages in Gardens and Graveyards.
    • In Wall-nut Hills, the Zombies must stage a final rush on Crazy Dave's mansion at the top of a hill and try to get 5 Zombies into the mansion to secure a win. On the Plants side, they have their full forced defending the two entrances and three automated cannons launching instakill Wall-Nuts down the hill to make the Zombie advance just that much more difficult.
    • In Driftwood Shores, the final stage has the Zombies launching themselves out of a cannon in order to get to the Mega Flower Lighthouse and whittle down it's energy cores. Made even more awesome by the fact that the Plants are also armed with three manned anti-air guns that players can take control of to shoot down the flying Zombies.
    • The finale of Cactus Canyon, a minigame very reminiscent of Payload from Team Fortress 2, where the Zombies have to push a giant golf-bomb into the secret plant base underneath the golf course, while the Plants are unloading all hell on the cart to stop its pushers. It is glorious to get that final push that sends the cart into the hole at the end of the level, blowing up the place.
    • And then there's Main Street. The Plants have deployed their ultimatum: a weaponized nuke-cucumber that is set to launch to Zomboss's base to end the war in their favor. The Zombies must advance up a street while dodging attacks from the four Corn Mortars launching ballistic missiles at you, then hold off the Plants long enough to plant 4 explosives to take down the weapon. It is amazing.
  • Clearing a Super Boss Wave. Especially if you're on Crazy Difficulty.
  • Getting a massive multikill using an ability like the Drones' airstrike, the Imp Punt or the Chili Bean Bomb. There's nothing like knowing that you've single-handedly crippled most of the enemy team.
  • Playing as Crazy Dave or Dr. Zomboss and providing support can be this if said support manages to turn the tide in your favor.
    • Bonus points if you actually get a Vanquish Streak just from dropping airstrikes.
  • Setting up a Teleporter as Rose or Engineer, and defending it well enough so that your team seizes the objective quickly.
  • Any Boss Hunt from the second game, from trying to figure out how to beat the Puzzle Boss you're hunting to whaling on them after completing the required actions.
  • As Imp, pulling out the Z-Mech just as you're about to die, then turning the tables on your attackers with it.
  • Also from the second game, during Agent Corn's mission, you get to fly in a freaking fighter jet in order to escort Agent Corn to the area where he will launch a miniature Tactical Cuke. Said fighter jet is invincible and armed with a variety of highly destructive weapons such as chainguns and rocket launchers. Have fun laying waste to everything in sight!
    • To put just how insanely powerful this thing is into perspective, the army of Boss Zombies that show up to try and stop Agent Corn will most likely get mowed down in seconds.
  • The final battles against Captain Smasher and the Royal Hypno-Flower at the end of the campaigns.
  • Three words: Ultra Zombot 6000. The final objective of Zombopolis, this stage involves the Zombies preparing to launch their superweapon and the plants trying to stop them. The entire battle is made of awesome, from the Plants having to take out the battery powering the Zombot's shield, having to take down the Zombot's fuses to whittle its health down, to even having to deal with the defending Zombies and the Zombot's attacks. And regardless of what side you're on, the winning animation is glorious.
  • The trailers for the games are fairly awesome in their own rights. One moment that combines both Awesome, and Funny, from the second game is, in a parody of Back-to-Back Badasses, the scene that involves Kernel Corn mowing down Browncoat Zombies, while Super Brainz is doing the same to a bunch of Weeds, only for both of them to realize that the one watching their backside is on the other side, and thus fight each other.
