- Marinette's parents kick things off with an Offscreen Moment of Awesome by getting Marinette out of Mme Bustier's class and into Ms. Mendeleiev's. After spending years convinced that no adults would bother intervening against Chloé's bullying, she's given proof otherwise and is given space to breathe.
- When Chloé invades her classroom and tries to give Marinette a Breaking Speech about how she's inescapable, claiming that she can easily get her new teacher fired, Ms. Mendeleiev makes clear that she is nothing like Mme Bustier and will NOT let her continue to get away with her antics.Chloé: I-I'm the mayor's daughter!
Mendeleiev: And I'm the meanest teacher in this school, and if I find you disrupting my class again, I'm going to see to it that you get suspended. Now out! Out! - Bustier attempts to guilt-trip Marinette into returning to her class or tutoring Chloé, only for Mendeleiev to intervene and send Caline off.
- When their outing to the ice rink becomes a Busman's Holiday, Aurore proves how dedicated she is to keeping Marinette safe by staying close to her side, refusing to let anyone get in her way. Chat Noir tries to claim he can't save them both at once? She calls him out on it. Frozer comes after them? She shouts him down and rips into both him and Hawkmoth for sucking at villainy.Frozer: I am the supervillain! You don't threaten me!
Aurore: And you don't threaten me. Do you know who I was? What your employer made me? I was Stormy Weather, I commanded not only ice, but also rain, wind and lightning. You are but a snowflake in comparison. - With Ondine's appearance during the events of Timebreaker, she actually proves useful against the Akuma. As Timebreaker goes to try to steal Marinette's energy after stealing Kim's, she moves Marinette out of the way and instead of Taking the Bullet, she grabs Timebreaker and tosses HER aside.Ondine: Kim and I wrestle all of the time in the water, and we like to see how far we can throw each other. Compared to Kim, that girl weighs nothing.
- Lucky Break, a power Ladybug doesn't have in the current canon, is based off a concept idea for Ladybug. It's her reward given to her with the blessing of Tikki and Fu for her proven loyalty, and she uses it very well in the fight against Collector.
- Chloé, of all people, gets Adrien's punishment lifted without the return of the Miraculous Grimoire to Gabriel. Not by taking the blame for the lost book that Adrien stole from his father. No, she managed to browbeat Gabriel Freaking Agreste into allowing Adrien to come back to school. Friendly reminder, he's the Secret Identity of Hawkmoth, who right before the weekend showed he was willing to have a girl murdered for the Miraculouses, and would be reasonably pissed that just ANYONE would dare barge into his home and tell him off given his reclusive lifestyle even if he wasn't Hawkmoth. While Chloé wasn't aware she was Bullying a Dragon, it was still gutsy of her considering that he and her mother banned her from participating in contests held by them.
- Aurore once again calls out Chat Noir for his inappropriate conduct during the interview, ignoring Ladybug's clear distress and trying to insist to the world and Ladybug herself that he and Ladybug are indeed lovers designated by fate itself, so she better get used to the idea even if it scares her. Aurore also, during the interview itself, senses Ladybug's discomfort with her mentor Nadja's blatant attempts to dig into Ladybug and Chat Noir's love life, and instead redirects the interview for something genuinely educational for Paris' sake.Aurore: You really are a piece of work. What Were You Thinking?
Chat Noir: I was just—
Aurore: Giving the people what they want? You're not here to humor civilians. You're here to save them. And you put your partner in an incredibly uncomfortable situation. She looked like she was trying to comfortably ride out a hurricane!- Ladybug tries to stay calm and rational during the interview herself, but her nerves with Nadja's nonstop prying into her romantic life and Chat Noir refusing to take her hints to not feed the paparazzi that Nadja's outing herself as have limits, and cuts the interview short in a professional manner.
- When Chloé tries to approach Marinette at her party, Aurore won't even let her get started on the Breaking Speech she clearly has planned for her favorite victim, cutting her off and calling her out as a poor excuse for a host. Chloé's left sputtering and completely unable to counter, especially when Aurore and Marinette happily walk out... and so does everyone else attending. Including Adrien, the very person she was holding the party for.
- Jean calls Miss Bustier out for foisting her responsibilities off on others, spelling out for her that if Chloé needs tutoring, it's her job as her teacher to handle that, rather than pressuring somebody who very clearly isn't interested into taking care of it. His support helps Marinette stand her ground and spell things out for her as well.
- In an Offscreen Moment of Awesome, Ladybug takes Miss Bustier aside after her stint as Zombizou and talks her through a Heel Realization, getting her to realize that her methods aren't helping anyone — she's just been enabling Chloé at the expense of everyone else. This leads Bustier to start seriously reevaluating her tactics and actually doing her job, a change that naturally displeases the abusers among her class.
- Although she only comes for two chapters, Marigold serves as a great Second Super-Identity to Marinette while Tikki's sick. She helps defeat Princess Fragrence and save Prince Ali, as well as complete the formation of Marinette's spine against Chloé.
- Chapter 22 is one long Chapter of awesome.
- Marigold easily delivers a Curb-Stomp Battle to Queen Bee by herself, completing Marinette's journey as Chloé's former favorite victim to being able to stand up to her bullies.
- It took 22 Chapters and an offscreen interrogation from Tikki and Fu to Plagg, but the heroes confirmed that Gabriel Agreste is Hawk Moth and Adrien was Chat Noir. However, so not as to rush things and turn public eye against them (since Gabriel is a famous fashion designer in Paris), Fu decides to have the team wait for a golden opportunity to strike and end this. As a precaution, he upgrades Marinette's Miraculous so she can summon any extra Miraculouses to herself.
- As a consequence to all of the bad things she's done up to this chapter, Chloé gets barred from her mother's show, repeatedly dragged away from entry. Marinette and Kim both watch Chloé's failure in glee.
- Kim becomes the only member of Bustier's class worthy (in Ladybug's eyes) of using a Miraculous. Although he screws up a little (Oudragon gets stuck as air), he still manages to help defeat Style Queen.
- Although the show was ultimately ruined by Audrey's Akumatization, the woman takes the incident in stride and resolves to do a NEW show at a later date without Gabriel if she has to, insisting on Marinette getting the praise she deserves.
- Aurore successfully unmasks Marinette as Ladybug, using concrete evidence. She also unmasks Jean as Fauxy offhandedly.
- Aurore finally confesses her feelings... and Marinette returns them. Relationship Upgrade complete!
- Master Fu actually takes action, teaming up with Plagg to break into the Agreste Manor and retrieve the Peafowl Pin. He's then able to repair it in time for Duusu to participate in the final battle!
- Ladybug takes advantage of Simon Says targeting Gabriel to confirm her suspicions, calling upon the Rooster to become Daylily and see that he's wearing the Butterfly Brooch.
- Team Miraculous takes down Hawk Moth at last, and every step is glorious:
- Fauxy easily exploits Chat Blanc's gross obsession with Ladybug by distracting him with Mirage.
- Oudragon inverts The Rest Shall Pass by letting the rest of the team take the elevator down to Hawk Moth's secret lair while she makes her own path and sucker punches the Smug Snake.
- Tempavo uses Astral Flight, the same power Emilie was misusing when she fell into her coma, and successfully guides her back, saving her life and proving that Gabriel's villainy was All for Nothing. And this is after Gabriel gloated about the notion of Tempavo, a child, winding up like his wife!
