Dead Space
- The gorgeous opening scene when approaching the Ishimura. Over 10 years after the game's release and it still looks amazing.
- The simple fact that Issac Clarke, an engineer with no real experience in combat much less against undead abominations, manages to defeat said creatures that manage to slaughter pretty much anything else in their way and is the Sole Survivor by the end of the first game is a CMOA.
- When you finally kill the Hunter it makes you feel pretty goshdarn good. Watch that motherfucker fry!
- New Game Plus modus can be one for Isaac right at the start of the game. Imagine Isaac, arriving to a routine job with a Level 5 Suit designed for work in very hostile environments and highly upgraded mining tools, giving him an aura of being Crazy-Prepared.
- Likewise being able to just take out the first Necromorphs that attack you instead of running away.
- While it is a bit of a bummer that Isaac doesn't play a role in killing Mercer or Kendra, who all lead you to your position of utter screwedness, watching Kendra be completely liquified by the Hive Mind in the last chapter can definitely be considered a CMOA.
- If you move fast, you can kill the Infector that's attacking Mercer's corpse before it can complete the transformation. Considering how eager he was to be transformed it feels like perfect Karma.
- Why just cut his head and limbs off when you can also stomp his corpse to a bloody pulp then scatter his remains all around the room with telekinesis? After all the shit he puts poor Isaac through, there's something really cathartic about desecrating his corpse that go far beyond the "oh, better make sure another Infector won't rise him !" approach.

Dead Space: Remake
- The final shot of the trailer before showing the Ishimura is of Isaac, bent over a desk in front of the warning to "TAKE OFF THEIR LIMBS". His RIG is in the red, he's barely clinging onto life, as if representing the series as a whole. Then, he uses a medical kit, his RIG fills up, and he stands, revitalized. Again, like the series as a whole.
- The live stream following the game's reveal also gave fans tons of reasons to be excited.
- Gunner Wright, the voice actor for Isaac in Dead Space 2 and 3, is returning. In addition, Issac will not be the Heroic Mime he was in the original; however, he's still a less talkative character relatively speaking, in service of keeping the original atmosphere.
- The zero-g movement from 2 and 3 is also being added.
