As a Moments subpage, all spoilers are unmarked as per policy. You Have Been Warned.

  • In the direct-to-video Pilot Movie Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins. The moment Buzz — voiced by Tim Allen — jumped into the Unimind, purifying it from Zurg's evil influence, as it spreads across the galaxy to remove Zurg's mind control, shouting "To infinity... AND BEYOND! BEYOND! BEYOND!..."
  • The four-way "mirandizing" of Zurg a few scenes previous runs a very close second.
Mira: Evil Emperor Zurg, by the authority of Star Command.
Booster: Section 5, sub-section zeta! That's the one about the "evil emperor".
    XR: You are under arrest.
Buzz: Like I said, evil never wins.
    • The movie's introduction to Mira Nova, who bests the Level Ten training robots by ghosting out of her suit to make them believe they've beaten her. She then ghosts through two of them and tears them apart, and takes control of the last one to smash the rest.
  • Any time Zurg drops his hamminess and engages in full on evil mode, like in "The Adventure Begins". It's especially spine tingling when he starts off a sentence in his typical comedic fashion and then drops his tone into something cold, dark and threatening.
Zurg: (with quiet sadistic glee) I'm not going to kill you. Noooooo... no, I have a much more delicious idea. I'm going to take the galaxy's greatest hero, and turn him. Into. Me.
Zurg: (unimpressed) Your puny Star Command laser is pathetic. LET ME SHOW YOU A REAL WEAPON! (pulls out the Ion Blaster and blasts Buzz to the ground)
  • "The Main Event", where Buzz and Zurg are unknowingly tricked into fighting for the amusement of Norbert Clerm, richest man in the galaxy. When he finds out, Zurg proceeds to fly up into his ship, banter a bit, and then blow the ship apart from the inside. Buzz has to stop to save Clerm, letting Zurg make a clean getaway back to Planet Z. One of his finer moments.
    • Not to mention, had Clerm not interfered with the fight, Zurg would have won.
  • The reveal of the 'real' Shiv Katall (Commander Nebula) in the episode of the same name.
  • Ty defending Commander Nebula from XL in "Revenge of the Monsters". He might be discharged and devoid of weapons, but there's no way he's going to let anyone get hurt. It also counts as a Heartwarming Moment.
Ty: Get away from my former Commander! (kicks XL in the back)
  • Team Lightyear liberating the alien's zoo in "A Zoo Out There." What makes it even better is this is after they've been stripped of their gear and weapons.
  • The fight between Buzz and Zurg in the Christmas Episode.
Buzz: I'm sending you home for the holidays.
Zurg: Bring it on, rocket boy!
  • Commander Nebula after being kidnapped by XL in the episode "XL". He's chained up, imprisoned in a cage, under a web of laser beams, and at the mercy of a psychotic robot, but he remains defiant until he's rescued.
  • When Buzz goes up against Gravitina in "Opposites Attract". After suffering a Heroic BSoD through most of the episode, Buzz decides to go up against Gravitina after she swelled his head and endangered his team. And it is GLORIOUS.
  • One of Zurg's Brain Pod's is pretty awesome in the episode "Star Crossed". When Romac, a bounty hunter who prides himself on never quitting a job until it's complete has captured him and Buzz. Once Romac contacts Zurg to tell him he's captured the defector Brain Pod 57 and Buzz Lightyear, 57 uses Romac's honor code and Loophole Abuse, hiring Romac to rescue him and Buzz.
Brain Pod 57: Is that it? Is your precious little mission finally completed?
    Romac: Yeah, it's completed...
Brain Pod 57: Good, cause I'd like to hire you to rescue me and Buzz! I'm prepared to pay one uni-buck!
    Romac: What?
    Zurg: What!?!
  • Booster's sacrifice in "The Plasma Monster". After Team Lightyear (without Booster), and Petra survive the explosion as a result of Plasma Boy going critical, Buzz and his team take a moment of silence to mourn Booster, only to have the silence break when they hear screaming in the distance, and it is revealed that Booster and Plasma Boy survived, albeit Plasma Boy in Booster's suit, and Booster himself naked as a jaybird. Where after failing to use a part of Team Lightyear's cruiser to stabilize Plasma Boy, Booster resorts to containing Plasma Boy in his spacesuit, which Buzz with a fairly straight face commends Booster for his resourcefulness, despite Mira and XR's anguish and shock at the sight of a naked Booster.
  • In "Speed Trap," when Buzz lures the carebots into the garbage disposal chute, he lets off three one-liners before flushing them all into space.
Buzz: I'm a bad odour and you're out of lemon fresh scent! I'm a stubborn mildew stain and you're out of steel wool! I'm red wine and you, my friends, are all out of club soda!
  • In "The Return of XL", XR escaping from from being torn apart by XL's Centrificator (and rescuing Buzz, Mira and Booster in the process) via the use of loose change.
  • In "Lost in Time", Zurg manipulates Buzz into revealing Star Command HQ's weak point by making him think he woke up a hundred years later and making him work in a Star Command museum. With Buzz held captive on the bridge of Zurg's ship, he makes him watch as a missile destroys Star Command. However, Buzz then speaks up by saying "To infinity and even further!", making Zurg realize that Buzz switched places with his animatronic version from the museum. As Zurg furiously demands to know where the real Buzz Lightyear is, Buzz is flying through space to catch up to the missile, which he proceeds to ride like he's Dr. Strangelove with his triumphant theme playing as he pulls it away from the refuse hatch and then redirects it to Zurg's flagship, forcing him to retreat.
Zurg: WHERE IS THE REAL BUZZ LIGHTYEAR?!
Buzz: (Flying the missile back to Zurg's ship) To infinity... and beyond!
