Part Fourteen: The 1,000th View

Several things happened when we last left off Pooh and his friends. For starters, Sam throwing a rock into the small basket near Darkness' house and remarking "Wow, physics" from being knocked down by the result is one of my favorite parts of this game. He also found his lunchbox and his flashlight. You know what else is funny? I just happen to be the one-thousandth viewer of this part. Hooray?

Part Fourteen out of Fourteen.

Sam heads back down to Otto, who he uses to get back to Darkness's house. Sam also heads up to the top floor, which is the location of Darkness's room, with a Putt-Putt cameo for extra measure. This is it, people! Sam and the gang will finally battle Darkness, which is mostly likely the only reason you really watched this awful Crossover if you are such a geek like I am. Sam prepares his gear, and he enters Darkness's room... which looks just like Sam's room from the very first screen of the game. Only this version of the room is a lot creepier, and it has a lot more "tree" elements to it then the rest of the house does.

Emily: (Darkness knocks from the closet) He's in the Closet

That reminds me, why are all of these other characters stating the obvious rather than actually helping the main hero? Oh yeah, it's yet another Pooh's Adventures cliché. Also, we finally find the final sock. Try saying that five times fast! Sam feels super proud thanks to the fact that he found all of his socks. However, it is not long until the washer overloads with suds from the laziness of his unseen mother. Sam digs through lots of keys, until he finally finds the one key he had been looking for all of this time. After he unlocks the door, he decides that he is FINALLY ready to defeat Darkness with a lot of other cartoon characters on his side.

Sam finally enters the closet, where he nervously greets Darkness himself. Man, I finally remembered how much Darkness used to scare me. He has always been the perfect example of Nightmare Fuel in a game meant for little kids. Anyway, As You Know if you ever beat the game, it turns out that Dark Is Not Evil, as he is actually quite scared of Sam trapping him in a box, and he just wants some friends to play with. You see, no one wants to befriend Darkness because he is Nightmare Fuel, and most people sleep when he comes out. Sam, understanding Darkness's wish to have friends to play with, agrees with Darkness to play Cheese and Crackers together. He also forgives all of the other cartoon characters via the magic of subtitles. Sam also beats Darkness to cheese and crackers.

Sam: Hey, what do you know! I defeated Darkness!

Pumbaa: (subtitles) Yeah But You Only Defeated Him For Fun

Please, Pumbaa, don't ruin a really great joke for us! Anyway, Darkness declares that Sam is really good at Cheese and Crackers. Sam decides to go back home, fearing his mom might get worried. They agree to play again "tomorrow night". Pooh also remarks that apparently Bowser has a secret (which has nothing to do with the plot). After jumping into his bed and saying goodnight to everyone (including Darkness, who actually lives in his closet), Sam drifts off to sleep. Fade to Black.

The video ends with a text-only "Where Are They Now?" Epilogue. According to the epilogue, Sam agrees to join Pooh's team the morning afterwards. After a small list of upcoming projects is listed, the video ends without any credits whatsoever.

Message to the readers of TV Tropes:

Thank you once again for reading along with me. I admit, I got really bored of this Crossover really quickly, and I felt now would be the perfect time to tell why. I think the whole fun of the Pajama Sam games is the randomization of the gameplay makes it an easy but fun game to play. However, it is never quite as fun to watch someone else play them, especially when Pooh and his friends add a bunch of Fake Longevity to make this game look a lot more boring and tedious than it actually is. You see, the main problem with these Pooh's Adventures videos is that they normally have no real purpose than to take any movie/TV show/video game and have random cartoon characters interrupting the original video, usually to just state the obvious, do similar or the same stuff the main character is doing, have pointless Montages, or say stuff that other characters are supposed to say in the worst possible way. The amazing thing about these videos is that some of them even have OVER ONE MILLION VIEWS. I'm not kidding or making this up at all. Please, stop making these bad videos, and learn how to do a Crossover right.

In the meantime, I will be liveblogging Gyro: Dark Chronicles next, due to the fact that it recently ended up on the Fan Film page, and... well, you'll have to see it for yourself to believe it.

Until then, this is Snickerdoodle Hamster signing out once again. Remember to beware of bad crossovers!
