"Good idea! Mortimer is gonna be so impressed with my skillz. I'll be all like I can haz promotion and he'll be all like "sure can"." After he closes the thread he hopes this site doesn't get to addicting and goes on his journey to make friends and work on his speech to get that promotion!
So friends have you ever heard the saying "If you can make it here you can make it anywhere?" Feebil is about to find out that "here" is a suburb of Sim City and maybe, just maybe come out on top!
He starts off by inviting Pauline and Pierre over for a quick visit. They oblige and after the notoriously under-dressed Feebil greets them they apparently break out into a full blown sibling rivalry! Pauline says something so offensive that Pierre immediately runs off! I wonder what it was.
"Your character design is lazy! I bet the player who made you wished he never played with you! Your such a bad sim that Will Wright would call you boring!"
Her ex loyal brother then jogs casually away into the night vowing vengeance! While Feebil is momentarily distracted by this he continues making dinner for them. Only to find only Pauline comes to eat with him at his filthy dining table. They casually talk for a couple of minutes and generally seem to enjoy each others company. Unfortunately Feebil yet again proves why that he lives up to his name in every way. That's right fellows he isn't good at making friends either. :(
Feebil makes an attempt at tickling her. This doesn't go over well with Pauline at all and she pushes him off and insults him. While all this was going on Feebil didn't feel like he was having fun. Apparently Pauline felt the same way because she waves goodbye while saying something about not having fun. That or her pogo stick doesn't go very high in the air, (give me a break, Simlish is hard to read okay!).
Back alone in his house he decides the best thing to do would probably work on his speech and get further in his career. But seeing his new bathroom in a wreck depresses him no matter who's mess it is. Dear ol' Momma Gasto rings on the door bell once. Feebil doesn't feel like talking and goes into the garbage-filled bedroom to sleep.
His sleep goes fairly well until he remembers a wiki page he saw on the internet today. This one is specific: http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Mom_Landgraab
. You read that right. Our heroes momma isn't a hapless Gasto but instead one of those douchebag Landgrabbs! Why didn't she ever tell Feebil? How did he never figure it out!? Was his father the evil retail developer Malcolm!? NO! NO! NO! It couldn't of been forged after all. It isn't like just anybody can edit a wiki after all.
The one and only Mr. Gastro wakes up to discover himself once again in a cold sweat. Bothered by his own smell he attempts to take a bath. On his way though something gives him pause; The fish are alive again! That or Dudley restocked his pets. Maybe there is a good side to Dudley after all. He feeds them than so these ones can stay alive. Apparently unaware of the significance of someone being able to raise the dead.
After this feeding he gets in the tub only to discover he only one hour until show time! Mortimer Goth sure isn't gonna promote him if he is late! Now you may think this is good enough, but you see in Sim time that is barely a minute! Still somehow he manages to do it quickly and makes it too work. Slightly depressed over his lack of friends and that he had no time for breakfast.
Extra #6 makes it home after a long day of shouting "Look out for that Werewolf" in Simlish and decides it is time to do something about his friendship issue. Feebil makes a grab for the phone to call Pauline and apologize for the bad visit but apparently she hates him, because as soon as he says hi she screams insults at him! His mood isn't helped when Douchebag Dudley: http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Dudley_Landgraab shows up and makes fun of him. "You call that a career! I'm not living with someone in the wrong income bracket!" Well screw you too Spoiled Brat! He doesn't want to live with you even if your his brother! :@
A little more depressed he goes to the mirror and is apparently depressed by just looking at himself. :_( Man this sucks, I'm hoping he doesn't end up stuck doing Dudley's work all his life. He can't manage to practice much of his speech without going on the computer a little and playing some asteroids. With that out of the way he quickly goes back to the mirror and finishes a page. But finds he can't practice anymore without getting all this toilet water on his feet, or gagging from the smell. He tries to go to bed once again and hears the faint sound of a doorbell.
Feebil goes to the door to discover it's Mom! After a strained greeting he confronts her on the fact that she kept her past a secret by insulting her. Already in a bad mood this causes Mom to cry and Gastro to go to be angry. Not before Mom comments that he seems really depressed and this place is still full of filth.
Feebil sleeps for a little while and dreams of having fun or having more friends. The last thought before he drifts off to sleep about how he maybe able to get a new TV soon not realizing how large is bill is going to be since he left all his electronics on.
Feebil wakes up once again bored out of his mind, hungry, and feeling alone. After a quick trip to the bathroom he decides to play some games. This fills him with fun but distracts him from everybody in the car pool honking at his house!
Missing his second work day his bosses are angry enough to call him at home only an hour after the car pool left and say that "missing one day is fine but make this a habit and your fired!" Seriously dreading the thought of having to live with Mom Ga..sorry LANDGRABB again he tries to practice his line again before he get's too depressed to even talk. Just than a phone call comes in from Mr. Landgrabb himself! He says and I quote "I know my son is a real slob but that's what I have you for. Please clean up the place and I'll allow you to use my maid." Mr. Gastro slams the phone back on the receiver and briefly considers picking it up and throwing it at the wall! But wait!? Does that mean Malcolm is the Sim god? He can take away all your skills and decides what your allowed to buy or know about? OH DEAR GOD!
Fearing Malcolm's wrath he decides to back into the bathroom and take a bath to try and relax. The second he gets out he spills a whole bunch of water on the floor! This is actually kinda funny now. I'm starting to feel cruel enough to lock him in there.
Figuring that in Malcolm felt it important enough to call him and say "clean up the place" he figures he should probably actually do it lest he get evicted. He begins mopping up the floor and than goes out only to find Mom there! She speaks about this place being filthy before leaving just like that. Feebil doesn't get distracted and dutifully picks up all the trash! YAY! Go Feebil!
With that he can call the maid and and is a little more satisfied with his nice clean pad! Dudley doesn't seem to like Feebil being happy at all though and once again tells him he is only a peasant compared to his awesome status! A fight almost breaks out but Dudley runs before Feebil says anything.
With that out of the way he hears a whistle. It appears the mail lady was here with bills! "$608 Simoleons!? I only have $800 to my name!" Tearfully pulling out his wallet puts the money in and mails it back to them worrying about how he is gonna pay the rent next time on his low salary and hangs his head because he can't buy that new TV that actually is in color. :(
Suddenly a phone call comes in! Fearing the worst Feebil picks it up and hears...
"Your heroic deeds have been recognized. For your contributions we are giving you $1,500 Simoleons?" Now this is nice and all but what heroic activities? Do Sims have lives while were not playing? Is this some kinda mistakes? Did somebody just get the wrong number? Or is the mafia cycling stolen money into his account hoping nobody will notice?
Now with more money and not having to worry about the rent he decides to call Pauline. Apparently Pauline still isn't up to the idea of being his friend and yells at him some more. He cries after this and I'm actually starting to feel bad for our little sim.
Now he cooks a burrito and eats for a bit. Before trying to go in and practice the speech again. But the dim lighting and limited space of his bathroom still depresses him for some reason. He goes out into the living room and moves the wall mirror there. Cause that's just the kinda guy he is! He fully memorizes the speech after only a few minutes! This doesn't really do anything to help his mood though and he tries to call Mom and just talk. Apparently she is still mad too and hangs up almost immediately.
He goes to sleep a little past mid-night and wakes up five hours later with his new TV! Not even that puts him in a better mood though. He curses the sky gods that make him sleep so little and wishes for a better life. Soon enough he goes to work miserable barely putting any effort into his one line.
Getting back home and smelling really bad he goes to the sink only to break it immediately with water leaking everywhere. Really depressed he decides to go play the computer, maybe he'll even ask the Tropers for a little advice. But as soon he pressed the enter key the computer explodes! Then I wonder if it is okay to feel a little Schadenfreude.
Really hungry, tired, lonely, and smelling like and old gym sock he goes to get some food and hears the door bell. Walking up to it he finds Mom Landgrabb there with a present. Suspicious he takes it cautiously and Mom explains that he noticed how depressed he was and hopes this would cheer him up. He puts it on the table with tears in his eyes and they talk for a while. Feebil energized with a new sense of hope!
Just sitting next to the plant makes him happy and they say goodbye soon enough. Maybe...maybe everything will work out after all. His sleep goes well and he eats very quickly and makes it to work on time happy as can be!
When he get's home he proudly declared that he has become a Bit Player! While still barely able to support himself and with daytime and nighttime hours he is actually getting somewhere now. He may have been really depressed, but with his determination and help from other people maybe he can be a great entertainer!
Just than the local asshole comes to greet the Feebil. Dudley says Feebil is now cool enough to live with him. WHAT!? Why would we ever wanna live with this guy? But Feebil Gastro is really excited about this for some reason and is ready to go along with it when he hears a phone call. Malcolm says he really likes what we have done with the place and gives us $190 Simoleons. With that out of the way he heads towards Dudley's blue car with flames painted over it. No! Its A Trap! But the warning falls on deaf ears and he goes to Dudley's party pad.
Literally the second he gets there he is met by some dude named Carlos who confirms our second class citizen status and says neither Feebil or Dudley are cool. He does suggest we throw some parties so we can move in with the right kind of people. Jesus, is everyone in Sim City an asshole who looks down on people with less money!? None the less Feebil goes inside and is dissapointed to learn they don't have a computer.
They do have a head in a jar decoration, a color tv, an outdoor hot-tub, a cooler, a grill, and a guitar though! Hey I could get used to this place! After a few minutes admiring the nice place Dudley's got he figures he has to answer to the land lord. So what does Malcolm want?
Well Feebil has to get promoted a couple more times, (requires more friends though Dudley might be willing to hang out) throw parties, and upgrade this house. Feebil's mind also wanders as he thinks what to do next. Does he ask Pauline: http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Pauline_Peacock to join for a party and hope they can be friends? Unfortunately Dudley won't allow her to come for some reason and only invited the party guys though he wouldn't mind if she just came over as a visitor. Maybe he outta talk to his mom some more. Or maybe he should just get to enjoying the place right away and throw a big party!
So what should he do? Where does he even start? Any way he chooses though this place is gonna be jumping pretty soon!
Long Entry I know. I hope this works for you and your not put off by the blocks of text or the length. So tell me, what should Feebil try to do next? He needs all the help he can get in this new place with his new roomie. Also could somebody help me move some of this text further from the right of the screen? Tab doesn't seem to be working for that and neither does the space bar. Is it just not like that with this site?
I'm going to busy tomorrow so next update comes either Friday, Sunday, or Monday.
