Here's the place to let the world know about something that doesn't work about this show, trope, or author. As the votes roll in, you'll be able to see if it is also a problem for other folks.
At issue:
+11 (yeas:15 nays:4)
The nonstop speech. Characters, often holding normal conversations, don't seem to know the meaning of the word "pause". When nobody's talking, Peter picks up the slack by internally describing every little thing that runs through his mind, with a special emphasis on the things happening right in front of us. More information than we require, Pete.
+10 (yeas:11 nays:1)
The network being so strict with their "non-violent cartoon code" that Spidey has to beat his villains without touching them, or passes out in one hit.
+7 (yeas:13 nays:6)
The animation. Let's face it, we remember this show fondly because of the writing, and just ignored how wonky it looked sometimes.
+6 (yeas:7 nays:1)
The ending. I know the writers expected to return, but it's always frustrating to get a series finale that ends with a cliffhanger.
-12 (yeas:3 nays:15)
Spider blood, spider blood, radioactive spider blood
-22 (yeas:2 nays:24)
Wait, this show had good writing? As if. The voices weren't particularly good or even professional quality, the story was so muddled I never had any idea what was going on as a kid (not to mention how it didn't exactly help me figure out the overarching plot of the actual Spider-Man comics by changing everything around), and, yes, the animation was freaking pathetic.
