* AudienceAlienatingPremise: Even those who know better not to believe the AnimationAgeGhetto can't help but find the show ridiculous, simply because of how flat-out ''bizarre'' it's premise is. Despite this, there are those who pushed past it and formed quite a cult fandom around it.

* JerkassWoobie: Clone Mandarin. C'mon, the guy gets his arm CUT OFF (on camera, no less!); is eaten alive by a giant worm-shaped incarnate of pure evil; starves, becomes undead, and eventually goes absolutely batshit insane in said worm; is later TORTURED for information for the whereabouts of his dead master's skull (again, on camera); and is then forced to become a pet-slave, which for someone with his pride, is a FateWorseThanDeath.

* CrowningMusicOfAwesome: The theme used at the very end of the first season finale. Variations also include the music at the end of "I, Chiro". Even more epically, the music used when we first see Antauri as the silver monkey (complete with lightning crashing behind him) and all variations on that theme.

* BizarroEpisode: 4 words: Wonder. Fun. Meat. World.

* TheWoobie: Pretty much all of the Hyperforce at one time or another.

* TheScrappy: Despite being one of the kindest souls you'll find anywhere, even after [[TookALevelInBadass taking a level in badass]], [[RobotGirl Jinmay]] gets more slings and arrows from the fandom than anyone else in the show for reasons such as [[RoseHairedGirl having pink hair]], being a GirlyGirl, being [[TheHero Chiro's]] love interest, being kidnapped a few times, and not using her powers every single opportunity she gets.

* BizarroEpisode: Wonder. Fun. Meat. World. Just to name one.

** And Offay's room full of [[DeadGuyOnDisplay mounted monster heads]]. What is [[YouDoNOTWantToKnow that liquid coating the floor in there]]?

* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: Like most Disney animated series, this show has had no DVD or VHS release and doesn't have reruns.

* TooGoodToLast: Yet another Jetix series which has been abandoned by Disney.

* TheScrappy: Jinmay. Sweet, kind GirlyBruiser Jinmay. What did she do to deserve all the [[MarySue sue-screaming]], [[RealWomenNeverWearDresses girly-shaming]], and [[YokoOhNo fangirl jealousy]] she gets from the fandom?

* {{Troperiffic}}: The Robot is deliberately as generic as possible (yet still loaded up with hidden, cliché weapons in every inch of its body, more with physically impossible mountings than not), its ability to transform into smaller vehicles is not only physically impossible, it's usually only used to remind us that it's there, Chiro's named attacks are some of the most generic SupernaturalMartialArts moves (ElementalPunch, [[ElementalPunch Elemental Kick]], KamehameHadoken), the monkey team are like any other generic ColourCodedCharacters FiveManBand... except they're freaking MONKEYS... Yeah, I think this show is trying to [[PrecisionFStrike F*ck]] with tropes for the sake of it.

* WTHCostumingDepartment: A superhero bringing back the cliche of [[UnderwearOfPower wearing his underwear on the outside]], a supposed [[MsFanservice fanservice girl]] who actually dresses modestly and never has any kind of WardrobeMalfunction, and a teenage boy who wears [[BowtiesAreCool a bowtie]] with [[WhoWearsShortShorts booty shorts]] and [[WhiteGloves Mickey Mouse gloves]]. What else is there to say?!

* FridgeBrilliance: [[spoiler: Chiro becoming monkey-ish after Antauri died in the second season finale? Well, Antauri might had possessed Chiro's body, and...]]

* CharacterizationMarchesOn: The Hyperforce. Otto, Chiro, and Gibson in particular. Best touched down on in [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIot0U1Zzhw this review of the first episode.]]
** Mandarin too. First appearence, he's formidible and deviously cunning. Next couple of appearences...there's been a notable drop in his intelligence level somehow, let's just leave it at a that...[[spoiler: Though when his clone replaces him he returns to his original characterization a little bit more.]]

* ViewerGenderConfusion: At least until you hear Sakko talk. Some countries decided otherwise, as mentioned.

** Mandarin apparently gets some kind of kick crossing this thing, because he does is '''three times.''' There's the above mentioned example, then after he's {{Face Heel Turn}}ed he [[spoiler: ''[[MindRape tortures his former teammates]]'' ]] in an attempt to force their obedience, then later goes on to viciously [[spoiler: [[InTheBack stab Antauri in the back of the skull]] ]] with no fair warning.

* {{Squick}}: The monkeys tastes seem to extend outside their species. Sprx-77 is by the far the worst offender with his [[LovableSexManiac egregious love for human women]] (he gets better, though). Otto is the same, though to a far, far lesser extent. And there was even one instance in which Nova fell in love with an [[CuteKitten anthropomorphic cat]].

* TooGoodToLast: Yet another Jetix series which has been abandoned by Disney
