* RuinedFOREVER: The E3 2012 information revealed that the game would have an ExcusePlot. Not uncommon for a Mario game, but for a Mario RPG it's unheard of, as SuperMarioRPG, previous PaperMario games, and Mario&Luigi games all had very good stories. While partners do presumably exist, they've taken a back seat.
