Shaggy and Scooby Doo, the LovableCoward[=/=]BigEater duo from the Franchise/ScoobyDoo franchise, branch out in their own show, where Shaggy [[UnexpectedInheritance inherits millions of dollars and a mansion from his missing Uncle Albert]], an inventor. However, Uncle Albert's inventions are being pursued by the sinister Dr. Phineas Phibes and his henchmen. Fortunately, Shaggy and Scooby can thwart their evil plans thanks to special Scooby Snacks that give Scooby-Doo temporary superpowers... [[TheyChangedItNowItSucks Wait, where are you going]]? [[DiggingYourselfDeeper Come back, we weren't finished yet]]! [[NotHelpingYourCase The villain pilots a submarine laboratory]]!

All kidding aside, the show wasn't bad as most people made it out to be. It still carried the spirit of its predecessors, had an interesting ongoing plot and for once gave Shaggy and Scooby the spotlight without having to add another main character to the mix. Phibes also was quite an entertaining villain to watch as well which helped plenty with the show's humor.

For better or worse, it was a worthy attempt at trying something new with the mythos. In fact it was actually one of Creator/KidsWB's better rated shows. The only reason it didn't get any further beyond two seasons was because of the CW shutting down the Kids WB block after 4Kids had bought it.
