* OneNameOnly: Von Reichter. His first name is probably some variation of Joseph, given that his son/clone is named José, and it would also be a reference to another famous Nazi MadScientist who fled to Argentina, Josef Mengele (who fled Argentina after Adolf Eichmann was captured under the name "José Mengele").

[[spoiler: This includes his own son, José.]]

** Oddly, Lucas is the only major character who lacks one. The composer indicated that this was a deliberate choice, as Lucas was basically the ultimate bystander, always getting swept up in the action.

With gorgeous animation, a likable and interesting plot and characters, the show only had 13 episodes, different networks that aired them (i.e. Teletoon in Canada and FoxKids in America), and was never released on DVD. ** The title character herself is also considerably different looking between the comics and cartoon. [=Cartoon!Cybersix=] is much less [[MostCommonSuperpower busty and voluptuous]] and has more of a gymnast's figure, which is what you'd expect for a woman who gets around by jumping across rooftops. Whether or not this counts as a straight example or an inversion is a matter of personal taste.

* LifeImitatesArt: Possibly? In the second episode, Von Reichter takes a photo of Cybersix as a child and manipulates it to appear as her current age. Although this was an idea in 1999, an electronic version was not in common use, and it was nowhere near as sophisticated as it is now (it's often used to locate missing persons these days).

* LeeroyJenkins: By the end of the first episode it becomes fairly apparent that Von Richter will never be able to create a monster scary enough that Lucas won't try to fight it head-on. By the third episode Cybersix resorts to having Data Seven guard Lucas in his apartment to try to keep him out of harm's way. The man does not seem to even have the concept of a survival instinct. Fortunately he's a bit more BadAss than most Leeroys.
