Similarly, Professor Otaku used to say "Until next week, this is Professor Otaku signing off", which he seems to be bringing back. Vixen makes a little squeaky sound that sounds like 'omo' but she claims her catchphrase is 'I'm going to kill you, Prof'.
** During the Desu Rattle podcast, Arkada shouts "For Fanservice!" in a manner similar to how Dr. Insano from WebVideo/TheSpoonyExperiment shouts "For science!", which has trickled into Professor Otaku's vids on more than one occasion.

* BreakupBreakout: Deconstructed. Rather than WebVideo/JesuOtaku leaving the brigade after joining up with Website/ThatGuyWithTheGlasses, he still tried to be a loyal brigadier, and his newfound popularity did in fact bring in more viewers to the Brigade's site; however, his indecisiveness coupled with his [[AttentionDeficitCreatorDisorder ADCD]] caused him to grow increasingly distant from the Brigade, unofficially breaking off from it about a year from its official disbandment.

(Hilariously, Vixen's response was to tell him that he wasn't allowed to have good ideas any more.)

As of April 20, 2012, the D2 Brigade has disbanded, although all on good terms. Prof and Arkada still make content, but Vixen and Jesu have since retired from video making and taken all their content down to avoid future employers discovering it. Vixen previously ran a Tumblr blog dedicated to keeping the site's memory alive, but that seems to have since been closed down.

WebVideo/JesuOtaku and WebVideo/{{Arkada}} now have their own pages (the latter, however, is in need of some WikiMagic).

He tries to be objective and may give high scores to shows that he doesn't personally like. He also produced his "summer project", an audio drama adaptation of Manga/FruitsBasket, every Wednesday throughout summer 2011.
* '''Vixen''', who produces the "Kit-Suki" review series. Her review style is very informal, and quite [[RedOniBlueOni opposite to her fellow reviewer]] WebVideo/JesuOtaku. In addition to reviewing anime, she sometimes reviews Western films (most of them Creator/{{Disney}}) in her "Film Fox" review series.

The original site was hacked in late May 2011. As of April 20, 2012, the [[http://www.desudesbrigade.com/2012/04/the-desudes-brigade-disbands/ D2 Brigade has disbanded,]] although all on good terms. Late in 2014, Vixen opened a [[http://d2brigade.tumblr.com/ Tumblr blog]] to keep the Brigade's memory alive, and Prof and possibly Ark are following it.
