** Zig-zagged with the plasma exchange whoop-dee-doo mammoth fur relay in ''Goodbye Deponia''. Initially, it's introduced as a non-existent object that Doc and Bozo asked for Rufus to find just to get rid of him, with the name being so gibberish because the two came up with it on the fly. But we later find out that it ''does'' exists, because Oppenbot happens to have it in his bag. Although, not even Rufus himself gets to see what it looks like – he keeps it in the portfolio the whole time, and upon bringing it to the room finds fully conscious Goal, quickly realising he's been tricked.

*** The entire game deserves a special mention because of many convoluted puzzles related to time travelling, with Barbeque Thursday, and [[spoiler:dying]] Rufus' story segment being the biggest offenders.

Good Adultery Bad Adultery now requires two affairs, one presented as 'good' and one 'bad'

* GoodAdulteryBadAdultery: Rufus is portrayed with relative sympathy towards his pursuit of Goal, even though she's engaged to Cletus, and Cletus at least considers it a PerfectlyArrangedMarriage despite him being a jerk. In game two, Rufus accidentally split her personality into three different minds, causing him to spend a lot of time convincing them to get the necessary surgery.
