* HundredPercentCompletion: Complete all quests to get [[spoiler:"The Final Instance" achievement]]. As the game has a PermanentlyMissableContent issue, it's harder than you think.

* ArbitraryHeadcountLimit: You're limited as to how many squads you can deploy in battle, and how many leader-type units you may have deployed. Rush is a leader unit who must always be deployed, of course.
** Somewhat relaxed in the PC version: they removed the "Leader" designation, meaning that there is no longer any restriction on the number of unique (in other words, non-generic) units you can have deployed. (Though in exchange, enemies have more HP and are generally harder to defeat.)
* AristocratsAreEvil: [[spoiler: Wilfred Hermeien.]] Subverted with David.
