* ObviousBeta: Charisma 4 invokes this, but not conventionally: the game is very clearly unfinished, but is really more of a tech demo than it is an unfinished game. That is, what little features are present in the single "level" all function properly and without much issue.
** The sixth game is also very clearly unfinished to some extent. You can actually kind of tell when Vitiman was at odds over the development of the game with the others: the moment the music stops being original tunes composed by Geno (and two by Vitiman) and the game starts feeling increasingly rushed into completion.

Seemingly out of nowhere on December 14th (near the closing stretch of 2015), Vitiman returned to MFGG. A series of attempts to make a new Charisma happened with it eventually culminating in Charisma 8. This game again, featured a mostly new cast (save some returning faces), but stuck true to its roots in MFGG.

MFGG. This was followed over a year later by the release of "Charisma 3.1 for Workgroups", the series' first significant upgrade in the polish department since 5's release back in 2013. Sporting the same cast as 8, the game appears to conclude with a {{Cliffhanger}} and Vitiman said that there were plans to continue onward with a brand new trilogy...

...or at least, that was the initial plan. The main gist of a followup to 3.1 was going to be a more adventurous sequel, detailing the ongoing escapades of a Charisma gang [[spoiler:on the run from the police]] across the country, tentatively titled "Charisma π: Dudim & the Chocolate Factory". The game entered early development before being unceremoniously canned at the tail end of November 2017 for reasons largely unknown.

A proper sequel to 3.1 would never surface - however, a successor to the 2016 "April Frills" Endless Charisma gag came again for 2018's April 1st joke at the expense of the audience, "Charisma: The Last One". In many respects, it's a direct sequel to 3.1, but is a much shorter game with a joke ending per the reason for its existence. For a long time, Vitiman insisted a proper sequel to 3.1 was on the horizon, even confirming one multiple times when Charisma 3.1 wound up winning many awards at the annual MFGG Awards showcase earlier that year.

Unfortunately, due in large part to the increasing "raising the bar" that the series continued to demand in both presentation and writing, alongside the tense interactions of former Charisma members and the current ones, Vitiman quietly announced that the series would likely not get a conclusion. Ironically, this leaves a large portion of the joke in "The Last One"'s name and punchline to now be entirely serious.

Made the description a bit briefer and cleaner.

By the tail end of September 2013, Vitiman had grown fed up with the MFGG community. He had previously bottled up his frustrations regarding them for the most part, but couldn't any longer and lashed out on a member for a spam post (the member in question was a repeat offender and had made several spam posts in the past with little to no repercussion). As a result, his Wiki Sysop position was revoked, leaving him with no reasons to continue being a part of the community. Noticing his actual powers as Sysop remained, he committed account suicide by power abuse soon afterwards to make his leave permanent (in hindsight, Vitiman regretted simply asking to be permanently banned but at the time he was merely afraid his request would be denied). Even prior to this, Vitiman and the rest of the Charisma gang had grown apart a final time over a credit dispute (that is, concerning who made what ideas and Vitiman's insistence that it didn't matter). When all is said and done, the obscure (yet amusingly quirky) Charisma joke games had a good run and managed to end with ''six'' games in the can; to be fair, they're joke games that don't require as much effort to make as regular fangames, but it's still mighty impressive considering the level of polish the last 3 games had.

...fast forward to late 2014. Vitiman announces that he's working on a seventh entry in the series, this time with an entirely new cast of characters (save for series mainstay Dudim). The entire internet rejoiced, and by the entire internet, we mean the Charisma Bros. Official Fan Club of Fried Chicken.

Seemingly out of nowhere on December 14th (near the closing stretch of 2015), Vitiman returned to MFGG. Will a Charisma 8 be in the cards of the wacky future of joke gaming? Only time will tell...

...and then time DID tell, for the end of June 2016 (roughly half a year later after returning to the site) Vitiman released the eighth installment in the Charisma series. Claiming it to very likely be [[GrandFinale the last one,]] it reunites Vitiman with some (not all) of the past Charisma team members, plus some new ones to round out the cast.

Finally (for now, anyways), a comic starring the gang was (poorly) made beginning shortly after the release of the eighth game - [[https://www.dropbox.com/sh/qpj5p5wqtr1efus/AAA-3De8f_Mi6qOdCbvuPRova?dl=0 you can view it here.]] Dubbed [[ShoutOut Dudim in]] [[WebComic/BrawlInTheFamily the Family]], it starts out as a surreal, heavily poorly drawn MS Paint comic featuring more wacky antics from the new Charisma crew from 8, but then [[ArtEvolution slowly starts to improve on the art]] (at least, every so slightly) as the plot begins to gravitate towards something more concrete.

Basically? One of the latest comics as of this writing outright states the story will be continued in Super Charisma Bros. 9. So confirmation of yet ''another'' new game, primarily at the insistence of some friends - [[FranchiseZombie so much for the eighth being "the very last one"]]

comic starring the Charisma 8 gang was (poorly) made beginning shortly after the release of the eighth game - [[https://www.dropbox.com/sh/qpj5p5wqtr1efus/AAA-3De8f_Mi6qOdCbvuPRova?dl=0 you can view it here.]] Dubbed [[ShoutOut Dudim in]] [[WebComic/BrawlInTheFamily the Family]], it starts out as a surreal, heavily poorly drawn MS Paint comic featuring more wacky antics from the new Charisma crew from 8, but then [[ArtEvolution slowly starts to improve on the art]] (at least, every so slightly) as the plot begins to gravitate towards something more concrete.

Basically? One of the latest comics as of this writing outright states the story will be continued in Super Charisma Bros. 9. So confirmation of yet ''another'' new game, primarily at the insistence of some friends - [[FranchiseZombie so much for the eighth being "the very last one"]]
concrete. The comic "ends" with a sequel hook.

A series of surreal joke fangames created by Vitiman, originating on the Mario Fangames Galaxy message boards and are [[{{Understatement}} loosely]] based upon his rather oddball conversations he has with his friends, all of whom are represented in the games one way or another. The games chronicle [[BunnyEarsLawyer Dudim]], an incredibly demented SuperMarioWorld dolphin who believes in love, happiness, and most of all, charisma. Joining him are the so-called "Charisma Gang" [[note]]Other names include the "Charisma League Of Petco Employees", "Those Charismatic Hooligans", among many other things[[/note]], a group of equally strange and colourful characters who also believe in the mighty ways of the charisma:

* '''Camtendo''', who doesn't possess any immediately bizarre characteristics, but does fly off into the sky in the very first level of the very first game, justifying it with "his people need him".
* '''[=Genogenesis7=]''', who is usually used as a background object and doesn't make a formal playable appearance until Charisma 5. The fact that he seems to enjoy being a rotating push-around may mark him as the goofiest one.
* '''sspp03''', or just '''S''', notable for being ridiculously creepy and sometimes overly violent throughout the series. He has expressed interest in schoolyard fights, has shot many small babies in a row, and will always take things more seriously than he should. In spite of this, rumor has it that he [[PetTheDog loves dogs, though.]]
* '''Miles''', the group's (literal) hero, is always seen wearing his iconic "batbro" outfit. From Charisma 3 onward, he is usually the one to [[spoiler:fight the final boss]], although he unfortunately pays the price of this when he [[spoiler:dies one game afterwards]].
* '''Doc''', who makes a quick appearance in the ending of Charisma 3 and another in the intro of 5 during a flashback to the former, although he's implied to be the one always driving the [=DeLorean=] that the characters occasionally use. Yes, a character named Doc drives a time travelling [=DeLorean=]. [[Franchise/BackToTheFuture It was intentional.]]
* Finally, '''Dudim''' himself is... well, the best way to put it is ''"completely insane"'', but he also has many other traits and quirks that could classify him as both TheHero and a DeadpanSnarker as well.

charisma.

The new gang consists of:

* '''Padded Rick''', the group's [[TheStoner stoner]] and resident snarker (more so than Dudim, even!) and has a tendency to be in his own little world. Whether this is a product of all the pot he's totally smoking isn't made clear.
* '''Philips''', the "boring geek" archetype who is quite literally the Philips logo and nothing more. Always seems to find himself in the worst possible situations imaginable for someone who just wants to use the computer and nothing more.
* '''Someguy''', creator of his [[VideoGame/{{Thingio}} own incredibly bizarre series of joke games]] and other weird wobbly bobbly things. Seen as something of a kindred spirit to Dudim (or at least, Dudim's owner Ike), Someguy saves Dudim's dolphin ass from being fried into a Japanese delicacy during the first battle with ancient golem john. Unfortunately, he couldn't save Dudim from [[spoiler:being mind controlled by him]], but what can you do?
* '''Scott''', who has shown up in quite a few things that Vitiman has done, and thus it's hard to tell if he actually counts as a part of the gang per se or is just a notable "guest". Either way, Scott lives in the deepest depths of CloudCuckooland, having created his own donkey garden and being able to chop down trees by throwing scissors at them.

Throughout the series, there have been a colourful lineup of... well, antagonists. But, with this being the Super Charisma Bros. series and all, they're not your usual villains:

* '''Heavy Fire''', a person notorious for their [[BlindIdiotTranslation horrible English]], their cheerful demeanor, and finally their [[TheLastOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers undying desire to enslave everyone using the cold blooded hands of the gods.]] He runs the Casual Chat, you know!
* '''Brynn''', a lackey for Heavy Fire (although later it was revealed Heavy Fire ''himself'' was [[TheManBehindTheMan merely a lackey]]) whose incompetence is a running joke throughout the series. His fondness for horses and bazinga are the butt of the joke many times throughout the second game
* '''Tim Rogers''', whose true form has never been revealed in the series (according to 6, the form he takes up during that game's final battle was a "disguise"). His true motives were never really explained either, but Vitiman likes to think that ol' Tim was a time creature who wanted to kill Dudim and the rest of the original gang for "knowing too much".
* Super Charisma Bros. 5 features a wacky RoguesGallery known only as the '''Dolphin Killers''', who are:
** '''Madox''', a no-nonsense computer program [[BuffySpeak thingy]] that was apparently Dudim's best friend at one point. His battlefield is the almighty world of Windows 95.
** '''Jay''', a powerful bird creature who couldn't be more of a LargeHam if he tried. He lives in the high as high can be skies where he lays his meatball eggs to feed his unborn babies. He apparently burnt the meatballs to a crisp, and he can't ever seem to [[NeverLiveItDown move on from the incident]]. [[spoiler:Ultimately, meatballs are his downfall.]]
** '''Elecky''', a person cosplaying as Elecman who took it upon herself to take refuge in the original Elecman's fortress of tower fortress tower. Except sideways. A very quirky character, she serves as the "leader" of the three Dolphin Killers, speaking for them most of the time and warning Dudim of what they'll do to him if he doesn't comply.
* Charisma VI, on the other hand, features a "negative" version of the Charisma gang dubbed the '''Charisminus Team''', who are as follows:
** '''Drewdim''', a deceptive and blunt force in the group, he is Dudim's opposite. Much larger and puffier, his sprite was actually intended as Dudim's sprite for the third Charisma (or at least, one of its many concepts) and was repurposed as an in-joke.
** '''Sarah Jenny''', self appointed second-in-command to Tim Rogers and Camtendo's opposite. She's notable for being the only one to appear twice (during her boss battle and in Mit's stage) and, aside from Drewdim, the only one who has dialogue. Her name is a pun on "Sega Genesis", in keeping with Camtendo's theme naming.
** '''Booster Megadrive 14''', a crazy computer program who went insane and is Geno's opposite. You never really ''fight'' him per se but he does trigger the boss rush fight.
** '''Tim''', no relation to Tim Rogers, is the opposite of Mit. Very Eggman/Robotnik-like in appearance, he seems to be the guardian of the Negative Zone gateway.
* '''ancient golem john''', a very mysterious fellow who seems to inherit Heavy Fire's Engrish to some extent (however, if he's pushed, he'll speak coherently, which may imply it's all an act). He seems to have deluded himself into thinking he's the "king" of... well, nothing in particular. Maybe he thinks he's the king of everything?
* '''Slowbiff''', ancient golem john's [[TheDragon second-in-command]], and a force to be reckoned with all the same. He doesn't appear too much, but it's implied he's the one who creates all of the weaponry and technology john somehow manages to obtain.

...and then time DID tell, for the end of June 2016 (roughly half a year later after returning to the site) Vitiman released the eighth installment in the Charisma series. Claiming it to very likely be [[GrandFinale the last one,]] it reunites Vitiman with some (not all) of the past Charisma team members, plus some new ones to round out the cast. They are as follows:

* '''Kirby's Adventure''', [[PhraseCatcher hit game on the NES]], seemingly a personification of the actual classic 8-bit game (which basically means the Kirby sprite from that game wearing shades). A combination of a seen-it-all DeadpanSnarker as well as [[SirSwearsalot a tendency to use far more colorful language than the rest of the gang.]] Seems to be the catalyst for the journey, having assisted Dudim in [[MakesJustAsMuchSenseInContext leaving Jerry from Seinfeld's apartment]].
* '''Blutorus''', aka "Red Ghost from Pac-Man" aka "Cruise Elroy". Doesn't say a whole lot, but does manage to do a good bit regardless. Sort of a blank hero type character, which might be intentional irony as the "red ghost from Pac-Man" is often considered one of gaming's first iconic villains.
* '''Friendly Dictator''', who's most defining characteristic apart from having strokes is that he likes new wave music, particularly the [[Music/TalkingHeads Talking Heads.]] Unlike the prior two, you don't really get to play as him in the eighth game at all, but he does have a larger impact on the story.
* '''Dustin''', who was rescued from a boss fight and proclaimed "bonjour, I am back" and then said nothing else. He did apparently send Dudim through time from his initial landing spot in the desert at some point in 1994 though, so he had an impact on the story regardless.
