** ''Golden'' actually has [[https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/746230710150496367/1064197439038427186/image.png six time of day phases]], but one called "Forenoon" is never used.

Added DiffLines:

** The multiplatform port/update for ''Golden'' has a dummied entry for [[SuspendSave Quick Save]] on the Controller configuration, which can be made visible through GameMod, though still non-functional without further tweaking. This implies that there were plans to allow the player to Quick Save with a single button press instead of having to open and go through the menus.

* NoBudget: Creator/{{Atlus}} was going through severe financial trouble during development and this shows quite a bit if one digs through the data, as the game was essentially built on top of ''VideoGame/Persona3'' in a way that is more or less akin to a fanmade hack, with much of the data assets remaining buried in the code in a way that was most likely not test data. This is a testament that, despite the lack of money, the game was still financially and critically successful, which likely influenced Sega buying Atlus out instead of liquidating Atlus' assets after they went bankrupt a few months post-release.

I tracked down the interview mentioned in the tumblr post on the Wayback Machine, the localization manager for the original P4 states the localization was done in six months from June to November.

* ExecutiveMeddling: As mentioned [[https://www.tumblr.com/nenilein/745280519515832320/yeahhh-pretty-much-lol-i-was-in-the-middle-of?source=share here]], the localization team had a total of two months tops to translate ''the entire game'' for the west, with Teddie suffering the most due to the long list of mandates attached to him.

* KillerApp: ''[[UpdatedRerelease Golden]]'' became this, significantly boosting sales of the lagging [[UsefulNotes/PlayStationVita Vita]]. It got to the point that many considered it the only reason to own one until ''Golden'' was released on Steam in 2020.

** ''Golden'' was originally planned to be a [[UsefulNotes/PlayStationPortable PSP]] title, which would've led to features needing to be cut. Thankfully the [[UsefulNotes/PlayStationVita Vita]] came along.

Added DiffLines:

** Specific to ''Golden'', voicelines from party members upon finding stairs are missing in English, made obvious by the BGM fading out temporarily similar to other dungeon discovery comments and the Japanese version actually having them. Supposedly, the localization did not manage to record voicelines for this scenario.
