** In sharp contrast to the other two Deadly Sins we've seen so far, Mammon is a true jerkass who would exploit his servant for quick bucks, even for the latter’s detriment.
** Arick is a slimy, [[EntitledToHaveYou entitled]] creep who runs a Fizz hate site after the latter understandably was creeped out by him years ago, making it clear the audience isn't supposed to like him.

* VerySpecialEpisode: Outright called one in the episode's description, as it's a musical extravaganza [[ExtraLongEpisode nearly a third longer than other episodes in the season]] that deals with extremely heavy topics.

** LITERALLY Fizzaroli towards the ''Sin of Greed'' himself in his song "2 Minutes Notice".

* NoGoodDeedGoesUnpunished: Once Ozzie proudly confesses his love for Fizzie, Mammon backs off now that his blackmail attempt is moot but warns him that he'll end up regretting it one day.

* ComicallyMissingThePoint: Mammon happily jams along to "2 Minutes Notice", completely unaware that the song is directed at ''him''. Even after Asmodeus happily clues him in to that fact, it takes Fizz outright singing "Mammon you sad sack of shit" in the lyrics and stating that he's quitting show business for Mammon to get that the lyrics were both completely serious and meant as an actual insult to him personally.

* Running Away To Cry: Fizzarolli does this during Klown Bitch.

* BitchAlert: Glitz and Glam are introduced acting haughty while talking down and insulting Fizzaroli while he tries to be polite with them. Soon enough they start insulting ''each other'', showing they're such unpleasant bitches that they themselves can barely get along [[SuperiorTwinTeamwork despite being a talented twin team]].

* BaitTheDog: Mammon offers a few times to give a traumatized massively overworked Fizz a break to "get his shit together". Unfortunately, he says this not because he actually sympathizes with Fizz, but because he wants his main attraction to be at full energy in order to keep exploiting him, something Fizz is quick to notice.

** Later Blitzo blows the head off of a Pit Bull hellhound who grabbed Fizz during his acrobatic routine and started humping his legs mid-air.

* ComicallyMissingThePoint: Mammon happily jams along to "2 Minutes Notice", completely unaware that the song is directed at ''him''. Even after Asmodeus happily clues him in to that fact, it takes Fizz outright singing "Mammon you sad sack of shit" in the lyrics and stating that he's quitting show business for Mammon to get that the lyrics were both one hundred percent serious and meant as an actual insult to him personally.

* MeaninglessVillainVictory: After Fizzaroli quits working for Mammon, Glitz and Glam wonder if they won the clown pageant by default. But by that point, nobody cares about them anymore. As if to emphasize this, a pillar drops on them the moment right after they say it.

* StepfordSmiler: Fizzaroli tries to keep a smile and goofy expression on his face during the TalentContest, but he's clearly on the verge of having a mental breakdown during most of the episode. He finally ends up having a panic attack after the Glam Twins music number, but Asmodeus manages to talk him through it.

* AmbiguousSyntax: The hook to the Glam Twins' song "Klown Bitch" can either be heard as "I'm a klown, [[ThisIsForEmphasisBitch bitch]]!", or "I'm a klown bitch!", i.e. a bitch who happens to also be a clown.

* HiddenDepths: Fizzaroli may not [[Recap/HelluvaBossS2E6Oops speak Italian]], but it turns out he’s fluent in sign language, as he holds a short conversation with a deaf imp child in signs.

* KarmicDeath: Arick "Burnie" Burns is a StalkerWithACrush who believes his love and devotion for Fizzarolli automatically makes him entitled to the clown performer, and spends much of the episode acting like a slimy creep towards Fizz. At one point, Fizz has a panic attack from the stress of dealing with him, requiring Blitzo to intervene. When Arick later bursts in on Fizz sharing a romantic kiss with Asmodeus, he flies into a rage and attempts to attack the couple with a knife. Arick quickly meets a gory yet satisfying end when Blitzo one-shots him from his hiding place within Fizzarolli's vanity mirror.

* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: In private, Fizzarolli will refer to Asmodeus either "[[AffectionateNickname Oz or Ozzie]]" and be just as cuddly with Sin of Lust. However, the jester refers to the Sin by his full name and rebuffs any physical comfort, as the former is going through an intense panic attack.

* TechnicianVersusPerformer: The Glam Sisters and Fizzarolli each take a different approach in both how they perform as well as how they present themselves. The Glam Sisters are the technicians, using their SuperiorTwinTeamwork to gain an edge all the while not giving a crap about actually making people happy with their performances, outside of using it to be famous and win Mammon's favor, with their final showing being a great song and showcase of their powers and talents, but having nothing to do with actually being a clown. Fizzarolli, on the other hand, is the performer, who genuinely loves both the art of being a clown and his (sane) fans, but is feeling burnt out due to the fact Mammon sees him more as a commercial then an actual performer, with his final performance being an improvised TheVillainSucksSong about why he's finally had enough of Mammon and is quitting, all the while mixing it plenty of clown or circus acts like trapeze or balancing on a ball. The dynamic is best shown during the meet and greet, where Glitz and Glam are merely just posing for pictures while Fizzarolli, even while stressed out of his mind, is taking the time to try and actually be personal with people.

* TwitchyEye: After shooting Arick, Blitzø congratulates Fizzaroli and Asmodeus on being a happy couple... and then his eye twitches as he calls out on their mockery of his relationship with Stolas in ''[[Recap/HelluvaBossS1E7Ozzies OZZIE'S]]''.
