->''In the first issue, they start by having the dog track the thieves' scent which leads them to a forest. And in this forest they conveniently come across the long-lost passageway into Canterlot. Okay, hold the goddamn phone! You're telling me that Maretime Bay was ''that'' close to Canterlot?! They were only walking for three hours before Izzy found the gate. And what the hell is the secret passage to Canterlot even doing in the middle of a forest? Canterlot is supposed to be located on the face of a giant mountain overlooking the surrounding valley. There's never a panel where The Mane Five are shown traveling upward or on some kind of incline, so how did they get up there? Even without that information, it makes' no sense how they'd be able to just '''walk''' here in as little as a few hours. Maretime Bay is established to be along the coastline, so even though we don't have an exact location we know for a fact that it's next to the ocean. Now, look at this map of Equestria: where Canterlot is clearly shown to be at the center of the map. In order for the Mane Five to just walk there, depending on which coastline Maretime Bay is located near, they would still have to travel across all these old towns and cities.''
