Ambiguous Disorder is now Diagnosed By The Audience, and it's also now a YMMV trope.

* AmbiguousDisorder: Carol acts very clueless about a lot of social conventions that should be obvious even to a very rich, very lonely girl. She reacts weirdly to emotional situations, and has NoSenseOfPersonalSpace. Finally, we learn that for all her apparent stupidity, she is actually an ace in the game Othello, which she seems a little obsessed with, as well as mathematical and scientific subjects. While none of those traits by itself is quite so alarming, the combination of them has led some people to wonder if she might be on the autistic spectrum.

** The whole point of the manga is Tomo learning how to bring out her femininity in order to make her friend acknowledge her as a woman. Misuzu is helping her in this endeavor in an effort to become closer as friends. However, her becoming more feminine isn't quite portrayed as a good thing; Tomo doesn't want to lose the friendship and dynamic she has with Jun, and part of the reason why he even likes Tomo in the first place is ''because'' of her tomboyish qualities. It is worth noting that when Jun was asked what kind of girl would be his type, he pretty much describes Tomo exactly (with the exception of long hair).
** That being said, Jun finds it easier to treat Tomo as a girl when she's wearing more stereotypically feminine clothing. Case in point was when she got hit on in the Beach and Festival arcs; he found it troublesome to get Tomo away from a flirt and have people think he was her boyfriend because he knows that she's capable of fending for herself. But in the Festival arc, where she dresses more like a beautiful girl, Jun takes her away from some flirts and lets them think that he's Tomo's boyfriend without a word (though he still finds it troublesome for the same reason). Same with carrying her bags and staying by her side.

** Tomo's greatest fear for her relationship with Jun, that when he sees her as a woman their all out friend/rival relationship will disappear, pretty much comes true before and after they get together. The aforementioned festival arc does this as illustrated; and post confession, Jun's so relaxed and gentle with her that she starts seeing it as treating her like his daughter instead of his friend.

[[spoiler:It works, but he doesn't let it show very much. Consensus on Ask The Tropers regarding the ellipsis edit war is that a space after the "..." is preferable for both aesthetic and pragmatic reasons.

Already warned not to do that. - https://www.thepunctuationguide.com/ellipses.html - "An ellipsis is a set of three periods ( . . . ) indicating an omission. Each period should have a single space on either side, except when adjacent to a quotation mark, in which case there should be no space.

* ComicBookTime: Played with. Albeit the backstory takes place in a 10-year period, the main story takes place during a single year, in Tomo, Jun, Misuzu and Carol's freshman year of high school. However, there's a discrepancy early in the manga, wher Tomo grows her hair out to appeal to Jun, which would have taken her a considerably longer time than it did (it would have taken her more or less 1 year to grow it that long).
