** It's [[ZigzaggingTrope zigzagged]] in Kagefusa's case. She loses hers at the end of her duel with her sister, Chifusa. But, unlike Kaede, Kagefusa soon recovers a respectable bossom. But the fourth OVA special is set prior to episode 1, so Kagefusa's back to being stacked and [[BigBreastPride flaunts them]] in front of Kaede and Ouka.

** The first chapter begins with Kagefusa raping local village girl Oume, simply because she was a commoner with large breasts. Several pages later, the reader learns that Kagefusa's squad also raped the girl's mother to death and killed her father afterward. The ordeal left her so grief-stricken, that she tries to take revenge on Chifusa because she recognized her as being part of the Manyuu Family. In the anime version, Kagefusa [[SparedByTheAdaptation spares Oume's family]] and only takes her breasts.

* WidgetSeries: However you may take the shockingly-bizzare concept, you have to praise it for being daring and original.

** In the second OVA special, Kagesufa and Kaede have Ouka restrain Chisufa, while they suck on her breasts against Chisufa's will, and yes, it's portrayed as [[GirlOnGirlIsHot female on female fan service.]]
** Keade often uses her duties as Chifusa's handmaiden as chances to grope and suckle Chisufa's breasts, usually whenever she's bathing her. Most of her attempts fail, since Chifusa is all ''too aware'' of Kaede's infatuation with her body. At the start of this series she has an average size bust and is a very efficient fighter, however as her [[BreastExpansion breasts continue to grow]] while fighting her female attackers and stealing their busts, they become quite a interference with her fighting skills, especially when they eventually become the largest in the series.

* BladeOnAStick: [[ActionMom Tsuyuha]] wields a naginata.

* BoobBasedGag: It takes a while for Chifusa to get used to her steadily growing anatomy, resulting in some goofy blunders and getting stuck a few times. Exaggerated after [[CurbStompBattle devastating]] a very large group of buxom ninja, Chifusa finds herself with breasts so big she can't even stand due to their sheer weight. Cue a Rocky-esque montage of her training at a nearby temple to learn how to reduce her size while wearing what is essentially the biggest sports-bra ever.

** Chifusa also serves as one. Like Kaede she's the butt of many jokes mainly because of her chest. Though, unlike Kaede its because her chest is [[GagBoobs insanely large.]] They also been heavily fondled and sucked on by many characters, including her ''own'' sister Kagefusa.

* GagBoobs: It takes a while for Chifusa to get used to her steadily growing anatomy, resulting in some goofy blunders and getting stuck a few times. Exaggerated after [[CurbStompBattle devastating]] a very large group of buxom ninja, Chifusa finds herself with breasts so big she can't even stand due to their sheer weight. ** Chifusa's name is one ''dakuten'' (voiced accent mark) away from ''chibusa'' ([[GagBoobs "udders"]]).

In this strange time, the social status of a woman is entirely dependent on the [[BuxomIsBetter size of her mammaries]]. The more favorably endowed tend to live the life of aristocracy and wealth. The less-than-ample are treated like trash. Of course, a system such as this would lead to a very erratic society, with wealth shifting hands haphazardly every generation. That's where the Manyu Clan comes in.

* BigBad: Munenori Manyuu, [[TheHeroine Chifusa]]'s ArchnemesisDad and [[EvilOverlord leader of the Manyuu clan]] who enforces the oppressive BuxomIsBetter standard. He's also one of the, if not ''the'', most serious character in the show. He's also OrcusOnHisThrone, since he never takes the matter of Chifusa's escape in his own hands.

* BreastExpansion: It's a pretty big part of the series as a whole given Chifusa's whole goal is to both help women grow their own breasts to take down the aristocracy and increase her own bust size to gain more influence to use for good.
** Eventually Chifusa has to try and [[InvertedTrope Invert]] this trope on herself due to her breasts getting so insanely huge she can't even stand, let alone fight. After a lot of unusual training she succeeds.

* BuxomIsBetter: The opening openly states that women with small breasts aren't even considered human.

* CainAndAbel: Chifusa and Kagefusa. This mainly due to Kagefusa jealously over Chifusa being chosen to become successor to the clan [[BuxomIsBetter despite Kagefusa having bigger breasts.]]

* SchizoTech[=/=]AnachronismStew: Somehow, AU!Edo-era Japan has Western-style disco pole-dancing clubs, complete with electrical lights, long before ''the Western world'' would have invented them.
* ScrewTheRulesImDoingWhatsRight: The OP of each episode explains that Chifusa defected from the Manyuu Clan in order to put an end to the corrupted [[BuxomIsBetter social hierarchy]] they've enforced. She intends to divulge the secrets of her family's scroll to those who need it, to restore equality among the social classes. Also, Lord Hatomune in episode 3, even after learning that Chifusa is a wanted criminal, still opts for letting her go... [[LovableSexManiac because he's in love with her breasts]].

** Kaede is subject to frequent upskirt shots to place emphasis on her thong and camel toe. At other times, the camera will focus on the width of her hips, [[ShesGotLegs her legs]], and the plumpness of her glutes. She's also the series' main source of [[GirlOnGirlIsHot lesbianism]], frequently molesting Chifusa.

''Manyu Hikencho'' (literally "Magic Breast Secret Sword Scroll") is a manga by Hideki Yamada that ran in ''Tech Gian'' from 2007 to 2012. A 12-episode anime adaptation ran during the Summer2011Anime season.

** [[InvokedTrope Invoked]] when Chifusa agree to represent a village in a festival where each side nominates their bustiest woman to stand on portable platforms and has attendants shake the platforms under them to get the breasts to bounce.
** Earlier in the same episode, Chifusa has to perform poledancing along with the local dancer Sakura-chan. Unlike [[ShamelessFanserviceGirl Sakura though]], Chifusa is embarassed by it, especially given the lecherous reactions of the costumers.
** Weaponized in the second episode where an assassin puts Chifusa in a trance with a technique that involves drugs and spinning her breasts. However, the downside is that the technique causes her breasts to sag.

* {{Fanservice}}: Considering the type of magazine it is published in, as well as the very concept of the work itself, this shouldn't come as a shock. However, as the series has progressed, fanservice has become less and less frequent. The anime is exactly the opposite: it took the fanservicey nature of the first volume and cranked it UpToEleven.

** [[SubvertedTrope Subverted]] in Chifusa's case. She looks the part and tries to portray an air of stoicism, but It quickly becomes plain to see that she's [[TomboyWithAGirlyStreak a girlish tomboy.]]
