* MissingEpisode: Usually twelve, but has gotten down to three.[[spoiler:(Two of the three are the two middle episodes of the Pyschic Assasins arc unfortunately.) Only one person, so far, has ever been able to upload a significant account of the series in English past the episode 34 mark (including the last dubbed episode of the series), but the account has been deleted,]] meaning all episodes afterwards are currently lost to the general public. Fans of the series would greatly appreciate if anyone with dubbed versions of Episodes 35, 40, and 41 would make them available. (Heck, scripts of the three missing episodes and an audio track of how of each of the one time characters that appears in Episode 36 would sound would work. [Because there are many instances of Hey, It's That Voice!in this series.])

* NumberTwo: 004, usually, due to always being able to bring out some big guns when needed ''and'' keep his wits moe or less cool while using them. The rest of the cyborgs have yet to be shown functioning as a full-fledged team without him. [[spoiler: Black Ghost halted the entire program for the guy for 40 years. Not to mention 002 and 009 are all but stated die in the final dubbed episode.]] Even villains as high as Black Ghost tend to notice (far more than some viewers) about the role 004 plays. The [[spoiler: 1st]] fight with 0010[[spoiler: -]] leaves only 004 in a functioning state (despite being hit with a two blasts instead of one like everyone else save for 009), 003 is barely conscious, and everyone else including 009 is knocked out; 0010 must have noticed as he left because about midway through the next fight 0010 strikes 004 (not the mouthy 002) BEFORE the supercharged attack even begins.[[spoiler: 009's staying in the hospital due to the first fight and makes the usual dramatic entrance.]] He has several character-enhancing discussions with other entities; machines, cyborgs, people.
* OvershadowedByAwesome: Surprisingly {{Averted}}. Every cyborg has their own advanced powers. Despite that 009 is the most advanced make of the cyborgs, he actually ''doesn't'' render them useless, even 002 despite that he is an ObviousBeta for 009's accelerator cause he can still fly. If anything, 001 can overshadow ''everyone'' with how he seems to have near unlimited PsychicPowers... when he's awake, that is.

* ScrewedByTheNetwork: As mentioned above, all but the last five episodes of the 2001 series aired on Creator/CartoonNetwork. The first twenty-five got rerun in the {{Toonami}} block several times, while the rest were eventually aired during the Midnight Run. Once. This meant the scene viewers were left with was [[spoiler: 004 screaming Viina's name after seeing her and her sisters shot by Von Bogoot]]. * AdaptationalAttractiveness: The new designs for the 2012 series aim for a more modern character design, which is specially favorable to [[http://takigawa.tumblr.com/post/21790989702/009-005 005]] (which also minimises the UnfortunateImplications a bit), [[http://takigawa.tumblr.com/post/21791051185/009-re-cyborg-009 007]], [[http://takigawa.tumblr.com/post/21791068037/o-o-009-re-cyborg-009 008]] and [[http://takigawa.tumblr.com/post/21791154662/009-re-cyborg-009 009]]. ** While Jet/002 started out as part of a street gang (and spent part of his original manga introduction performing the dance from ''Theatre/WestSideStory''), he was quickly established as an easygoing, agreeable BigBrotherMentor to Joe. * NumberTwo: 004, usually. The team has yet to be shown functioning without him. [[ spoiler: Black Ghost halted the entire program for the guy for 40 years. Not to mention 002 and 009 die in the final dubbed episode.]] Even villains tend to have a reaction to 004. The [[ spoiler: 1st]] fight with 0010[[ spoiler: -]] leaves only 004 in a functioning state (despite being hit with a two blasts instead of one like everyone else save for 009], 003 is barely conciscious, and everyone else including 009 is knocked out. 0010 must have noticed as he left because about midway through the next fight 0010 strikes 004 down first. * HeyIt'sThatVoice!: The 2001 Dub has many of these, even some in the exact same voice. For example: Ivan as Gomamon. 009 as Tai (or Ken in a pair of episodes), a minor henchman in the Cyborg 0013 pair has the same voice as Henry from [[DigimonTamers]]. Take any voice and look it up on Wikipedia and there will be a full list of roles that the voice actor has performed. Some will be more familar than others.

* MissingEpisodes: Usually twelve, but has gotten down to three.[[Spoiler:(Two of the three are the two middle episodes of the Pyschic Assasins arc unforunately.)Only one person, so far, has ever been able to upload a significant account of the series in English past the episode 34 mark (including the last dubbed episode of the series), but the account has been deleted,]]meaning all episodes afterwards are currently lost to the general public. Fans of the series would greatly appreciate if anyone with dubbed versions of Episodes 35, 40, and 41 would make them available. (Heck, scripts of the three missing episodes and an audio track of how of each of the one time characters that appears in Episode 36 would sound would work. [Because there are many instances of {{Hey, It's That Voice!}} in this series.])
