** Also a potential subversion in the fact that only the wolves seem to notice it. This Troper always thought it was really dog-whistle high (possibly higher) and Toboe was the only one freaking out because the others were old/experienced enough to not piss themselves at high-pitched noises.

** You're not mentioning the crowner? In Battle of the Planets, [[spoiler:Zim uses Mars as a giant steamroller to flatten Earth. The planet comes down gently and crushes a man's soda can.]] The man's screams go on for about a minute onscreen without end.

* Bulk and Skull from ''MightyMorphinPowerRangers'' also have their scream, when seeing a monster or any creature. They even scream in a Megazord cockpit from an the 'Crystals of Nightmare' episode (we only see Bulk screaming) when Skull warned Bulk that they're going to crash.

* Cheza from ''Manga/WolfsRain'' definitely fits this. Upon seeing or just ''sensing'' spilled wolf's blood nearby, she gives an unnervingly loud and high-pitched scream. The first time she did, Toboe went ''crazy''. His increasingly hysterical attempts to cover his ears, overlapped with a wolf's howls of pain, were deeply unsettling to this troper.

* Rincewind does the Munsch pose on the paperback cover of ''Discworld/TheLastHero''.

* In ''Videogame/AsurasWrath'', the second half of Episode 12 has Asura unleash one of these when [[spoiler: the girl who looks like his daughter is killed in Olga's orbital bombardment]], with the scream being an outpouring of both his helpless grief and his pure, unadulterated, mindless '''[[UnstoppableRage RAGE]]'''. And accompanying the scream is [[spoiler: a blast of raw power so intense it destroys half of Olga's thousands-strong fleet of warships]], and this is before [[spoiler: Berserker Asura himself begins destroying the other half.]]

* Used for serious effect in the SoulEater anime. Maka is fighting Asura [[unconcious and in her weapon form.]] Asura fights her off by ''stabbing his hand into her chest.'' Maka let's out a scream so chilling, anyone who's ever had a serious injury will remember it.

* Spoofed in ''Film/OverTheHedge'' several times. Specially over the top when the use of a particular Anti-Critter device (forbidden in every state except Texas, talk about animal cruelty) is used at maximum potency on the BigBad (well, all three of them). The resulting flash is shown visible by a distant view of the Milky Way, and gives all the critters watching a dark tan.
** Not to mention said light manages to obliterate an orbiting satellite.

* Don Para becomes so afraid that he [[CrowningMomentOfFunny literally transforms into the painting for a few second]] in ''[[Manga/DragonBall Dragon Ball GT]]''.
