* In the ''Franchise/Ben10'' franchise, {{Mana}} is both LifeEnergy and the fuel for magic. There's a race of EnergyBeing called Anodites who are literally made of the stuff. So is the dimension known as Ledgerdomain, the MagicalLand and EldritchLocation from which all magic flows. It's the home of the WitchSpecies which spawned recurring villains Hex and Charmcaster. It's also home to the Alpha Rune, which is inscribed with [[IKnowYourTrueName the true name]] of magic itself, making its wielder nigh omnipotent, in or out of Ledgerdomain.

When something or someone is ''literally'' MadeOfMagic, or at least an [[AppliedPhlebotinum equivalent]].

Not to be confused with MadeOfPhlebotinum, where 'magic' makes the setting work at all (it does count if the setting ''itself'' is MadeOfMagic). You may occasionally find someone to be [[MadeOfMagic Made Of]] ''[[MadeOfEvil Evil]]'' [[MadeOfMagic Magic]]. A PlaceOfPower is usually MadeOfMagic, as well as [[PureMagicBeing many supernatural beings]].

* In ''TheDresdenFiles'', the [[EldritchLocation Nevernever]] and all it's [[OurSpiritsAreDifferent inhabitants]] are this.

* In the 1998 ''Merlin'' TV miniseries, a wide variety of creatures including [[spoiler:Queen Mab]] are this. And, in that setting, magic is definitely ClapYourHandsIfYouBelieve...

Creatures that are MadeOfMagic may in fact be a PureMagicBeing, or an EnergyBeing, depending on whether the setting has more of a ScienceFiction or a {{Fantasy}} flavor. In a ScienceFantasy setting, the creature might be [[TakeAThirdOption both]].

* ''ThePrincessSeries'' features [[spoiler: the Seven Dwarves]] as living representations of elements, the last of which is magic.

* Everything in the magical world in ''TheDarkLordOfDerkholm'' contains magic in it to the point that people from another world were digging up dirt in that world and smuggling it into their magic-less world to do magic (and make a lot of cash).

** Outside even the Outer Planes lies the [[EldritchLocation Far Realm]], which can be considered the home of [[CosmicHorror Pure Alien]] magic.

* The entire {{Shinigami}}-world of ''{{Bleach}}'' is ''[[UpToEleven made]]'' from 'spirit particles', making those skills that rely on [[EnergyAbsorption absorbing]] said particles many times more powerful. There's some fairly nifty scenes where you can see nearby walls and buildings slowly dissolving as the particles are absorbed and redirected into an attack...
