** [[TalesofSymphonia Lloyd]] is a very hot-blooded when provoke or his friends threaten. He pretty much declare war on the Desians out of anger and outright stated a desire to kill all of them. He also had little quarrels about beating an angel to death after he took the soul of his childhood friend. He also boldly kept attacking a person who could easily own the entire party out of irritation. Granted, he cools down as the game goes on and he is nearly a stoic in the sequel, but he can still fly off the handle if he is angry enough,

*** It's also treated somewhat more realistically, since his HotBlooded self is one of his biggest character flaws: the fact that he is constantly acting on his over-the-top emotions [[XanatosSucker makes it very easy to manipulate him and lure him into traps]].

* Guts from ''{{Berserk}}'' is normally very cold and indiferent, but when the BerserkButton is turned on, he becomes very [[UnstoppableRage savage]] and [[ScreamingWarrior noisy]] to the point of refuse to stay down and '''NEVER''' let go of his sword. He smiles on the fights, always gets up, ready for more. His passion on the battlefield makes him a HotBlooded ''{{Determinator}}''.

* ''{{DieBuster}}'' also has its fair share of hot blooded characters, with Nono and Lal'C being the most passionate of the bunch. It is a great advantage, because the Buster Machines from this era are {{Empathic Weapon}}s that can create powerful physic-defying effects when influenced by its pilot will.

* It's taken this long to mention Gunbuster and its little cousin Diebuster?

* Kyo Sohma from ''FruitsBasket''. Short-tempered, passionate, competitive, and persistent, he rivals Vegeta in the possible TropeNamer category. He even has his own Goku of sorts in [[AlwaysSomeoneBetter Yuki]] whom he has a poor relationship with [[spoiler: for most of the series]]. However, his qualification for this trope fades away as CharacterDevelopment takes its place.

** Misato is a more milder case.

** To the point where the characters themselves often point out that various actions wouldn't work if they didn't will them to do so.

* Ash Ketchum from '{{Pokemon}}'', almost to the point of {{Flanderization}} (alongside IdiotHero). [[CharacterDevelopment He's gotten a bit more mature in recent years]], but being HotBlooded to the max comes naturally considering he's voiced by Mrs. RicaMatsumoto.

* Jounouchi of ''{{Yu-Gi-Oh}}!'' has quite a few {{Berserk Button}}s.
** What, Bakura doesn't get a mention? From Battle City onwards he's voiced by Matsumoto Rica, which practically earns him an entry on this page automatically. And he manages to take and run with the 'Ore-sama' pronoun and make it sound ''good''. Most characters are lucky to get away with it once or twice. In season five when he takes on his Thief King persona again he becomes particularly hotblooded.
* Judai Yuki of ''{{Yu-Gi-Oh GX}}'' falls under this trope. More than once in the series, Judai actually tries to use his brains for playing...and loses horribly as a consequence! But god help those who face him when he plays with his heart!

* ''Comicbook/{{X-Men}}'': Most of the more fervent anti-mutant detractors end up coming across like this, but for a heroic example, see Sunspot and Cannonball of the NewMutants. Of course, [[PersonalityPowers one's a solar-powered superstrong and the other can smash into things with a blasting field]]...SoYeah.

* Prince Zuko from ''[=~Avatar: The Last Airbender~=]'' fits this trope to a T. Plus, there's the fact that he can [[PersonalityPowers literally set things on fire]]. So...yeah.
